Chenfu town

Chen Fu town, a registered residence in Dachang Hui Autonomous County, Langfang City, Hebei Province, is located in the eastern part of Dachang Hui Autonomous County. It borders Sanhe on the East and North, and is adjacent to Xianghe County in the south. The area is 23.76 square kilometers. Up to 2018, the population of the household register was 12569.

It originally belonged to Sanhe county. In 1955, it belonged to Dachang Hui Autonomous County. At the end of 1958, it was included in Jixian County. In June 1962, Dachang Hui Autonomous County was restored. In 1984, it was changed to Chenfu township. In November 2013, the township was set up. As of June 2020, Chenfu town has 21 administrative villages.

In 2018, there were 79 industrial enterprises in Chenfu Town, including 3 Enterprises above Designated Size and 27 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History and culture

It was named after the town people's Government in Chenfu village. According to the research, in the early Ming Dynasty, the Cheng family first came here to establish a village and named it Cheng's family house after their surname. According to legend, when the king of Yan swept the north, the Chen family moved to the village from Wuqiao. Later, because of the death of the Cheng family, it was renamed Chen Fu.
