Nanqiao District of Chuzhou City governs the street (Community Service Management Center). Located in the south of Qingliu road and west of Qingliu River, it is the seat of the municipal government. It borders Yaopu town in the East and south, Langya Mountain in the West and Langya District in the north. It covers an area of 34.19 square kilometers. The permanent resident population is 62643 (the sixth census in 2010). The main urban roads include fengle Avenue, Zhongdu Avenue, Longpan Avenue, Quanjiao Road, Nanqiao Road, chuning expressway, etc.

On July 1, 2010, six communities of Yinhua East Village, Yinhua West Village, Xinjian, Ziwei South Road, Huxin road and Xugang, and three villages of Huayuan, dougang and Hongmiao (covering an area of 8.02 square kilometers) in Qingliu street of Langya district were put under the jurisdiction of Nanqiao District, with a total population of 62643.
