Xing'an, born in 1962 in Hulunbuir, Inner Mongolia, is of Mongolian nationality.

Life of the characters

He graduated from Chinese Department of Central University for Nationalities in 1985. He graduated from the critic class of Lu Xun College of Arts in 2008. He worked for Beijing literature magazine in 1985 and was deputy editor in chief in 1996. In 2000, he worked as an associate researcher in the research department of Beijing Federation of literary and art circles. He once won the prize of minority literature review of Contemporary Literature Research Association. He is a member of China Writers Association. Director of Chinese Contemporary Literature Research Association. Director of the Beijing Writers Association and a contract writer.

Main works

The chief editors and commentators include the series of excellent Chinese novels in 1990 (10 volumes), the works of intellectual women (10 volumes), the works of Chinese writers in the 1960s (novel volumes), and the selected feminist novels (2 volumes). He participated in the compilation of the history of contemporary Chinese literature and the history of contemporary Chinese minority literature.
