Xuwei Township belongs to Huaiyuan County, Bengbu City, Anhui Province. It is located in the west of Huaiyuan County. Its geographical coordinates are 116 degrees 52 minutes east longitude and 33 degrees 06 minutes - 10 minutes north latitude. It is about 35 kilometers away from the county, bordering Mengcheng County in the west, Heliu town in the East, Qianhe River in the South and Longkang farm in the north.

History of construction
Xuwei township was founded in 1958. Shangmiao (Qingfeng) people's commune was established by the merger of shangmiao Township and Dahu township at that time. The commune is located in Xuwei. In 1963, the organizational system of Longkang district was restored, with only the Party committee and no District Department. Shangmiao commune was divided into two sub communes, Xuwei commune and shangmiao commune. In February 1969, xushou people's commune was established. In 1980, the organizational system of Longkang district was restored again. Xuwei commune is divided into three communes: Xuwei commune, shangmiao commune and Baihu commune. In 1984, the people's commune system was abolished, the township system was restored, and the people's government was established. In 1992, Xuwei township was established by merging Xuwei, shangmiao and Baihu.

Forestry

Before the founding of the people's Republic of China, there were many jujube trees in majiahu, with 20 planted in the largest family. In 1958, all jujube trees were collected. Later, it was gradually cut down. Peach, plum, plum, apricot, cherry, persimmon, pomegranate and other fruit trees were planted sporadically in history. There was also a small peach orchard. Most of these fruit trees were destroyed after 1958, and they could not be recovered for a long time. Since the 1980s, it has been planted one after another.
