Sanqi town

Sanqi town is a town under the jurisdiction of Yuyao City, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province. It is located in the hinterland of Ningshao plain with superior geographical conditions. It borders Ningbo in the East, Hemudu ruins across cijiang River in the South and Cixi in the north. Convenient transportation, 61 provincial road across the town, 30 km away from Ningbo Lishe Airport and Ningbo port. With humid climate, pleasant seasons and rich products, Ningbo is an important commodity grain base and production place of Myrica rubra, known as the "hometown of Myrica rubra in China". Sanqi town is a booming town, not only rich in specialty products, but also an important development project of tourism resources.

General situation

Sanqi town is named after the market. According to the records of Cixi County annals written by Guangxu, "Sanqi City, 25 Li west of the county, meets three, five, seven and ten cities on the moon, hence its name.".

It covers an area of 68.53 square kilometers (2017) and has a population of 42000 (2017), including 31065 permanent residents and 11000 immigrants. It has jurisdiction over two residential areas in Sanqi city and 26th City, and 12 administrative villages in Dalin mountain, Shengli Town, Xingfu Shibu Yaodong zhujiadu Town, Sanqi city. The town government is located at 100 Jinchuan West Road, 315412. In 2012, the per capita economic income was 16102 yuan.

The traffic of Sanqi town is convenient. The 61 provincial highway runs across the town. The cross sea bridge connecting Shanghai and Ningbo, Shenhai expressway, touches the town. It has "four and a half" advantages, namely "half an hour to Ningbo City, half an hour to Yuyao City, half an hour to Hangzhou cross sea bridge and half an hour to Ningbo Airport". Historical evolution

Sanqi Town, formerly known as Jinchuan, belonged to jurzhang in ancient times. Cixi township was established in the 26th year of Kaiyuan period of Tang Dynasty (738). It has five townships under its jurisdiction: demen, Xiyu, Shitai, Jinchuan and Minghe. Through the song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, the situation changed from time to time. Today, Sanqi town belongs to Jinchuan Township, which has never changed.

In October 1954, Cixi County changed greatly, and Jinchuan township was assigned to Yuyao county. In April 1956, Jinchuan, Xinqiao and Zhujiang were merged into Xinqiao township.

In October 1958, the people's commune was militarized and established as Jinchuan camp of Zhangting people's commune. In March 1959, the commune system was adjusted to Jinchuan management area of Zhangting people's commune.

In May 1961, Zhangting commune was restored at the district level and the people's commune of Sanqi city was established.

In 1978, Xinqiao commune was merged into Sanqi commune.

In May 1983, the government and society were separated and renamed Sanqi city and township.

In 1986, the township of Sanqi city was removed to build a town.

In May 1992, 26 towns were merged into 37 towns.

Sanqi town is Yaodong entrepreneurial base. At present, there are two industrial functional zones in Yunshan and Sanqi city. There are 34 industrial enterprises with an output value of more than 20 million yuan and 9 enterprises with an output value of more than 100 million yuan, basically forming five leading industries, including auto parts, leather goods, stainless steel, rubber and plastic, and light textile.

In 2014, the planning started the construction of "robot" industry characteristic town, and the development of emerging industries in the town was accelerated.

According to flora of China, Shibu is the birthplace of Chinese water chestnut species Myrica rubra, so Sanqi town is known as "the hometown of Chinese Myrica rubra". The red bayberry, known as the "treasure of fruit", is a major characteristic agricultural product of Sanqi town. Su Dongpo, a great poet of Song Dynasty, once praised "Fujian Guangdong litchi Xiliang grape, but not Wuyue red bayberry".
