Hengtoushan Town, subordinate to Huachuan County, Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the southwest of Huachuan County and the foot of hengtoushan. It is connected with simajia Township in the East, Huanan County in the south, Changfa town and songshuehe Township in Jiamusi City in the west, and simajia Township in the north. The total administrative area of hengtoushan town is 314.10 square kilometers.
After the first year of the Republic of China (1912), it belongs to Xianghua District of Huachuan County. In 1930, it belonged to the second district. After the fall of Northeast China, it belonged to Taiping town. In December 1938, Chaoyangchuan village was established. In April 1956, Chaoyangchuan township was established. In September 1958, it was incorporated into Changfa commune. In 1962, hengtoushan commune was established. In April 1984, communes were transformed into townships; in December of the same year, townships were transformed into towns. In late 2018, the registered residence population of 17088 people was in the town of Heng tou Shan. As of October 2019, hengtoushan town has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages and 4 village level units. The town people's government is located in East Chaoyang village.
