folk culture
"Qingming Lantern Festival" began in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasty (1588) and flourished in Yannian, with a history of more than 400 years. Intermittently, in the 22nd year of Daoguang (1842), the Dagong hall was rebuilt, and at the same time, the temple bell (which is now in the temple) was cast. In the early August of the next year, it was opened, and it was really magnificent. In 1844, a large-scale lantern festival was held and a lantern exhibition was added. Zhu Huanran created the Daohua lantern show, and everyone responded. Every household must give out a lantern to compete for splendor. On the Qingming Festival, the lantern shows in the Dagong hall during the day. The lantern watchers applauded. It was the year that the Qingming Lantern Festival reached a new height. During the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, the Qingming Lantern Festival stopped. It did not recover until the reign of Emperor Guangxu. It stopped again during the Anti Japanese War, and stopped again in 1946 and 1948 after the victory of the Anti Japanese war. In 1988, with the help of the cadres of the cultural centers of counties, districts and townships, the lantern exhibition was resumed, which has been followed up to now. The Dagong hall was built to commemorate "King Xu Yan". According to the existing records of Longyou, the research on the historical data of King Xu Yan: "the site of King Xu Yan's house is on the Bank of the river 20 Li to the east of the county, where King Yan walked south and lived. In ancient times, the river was named zhuxiyun"; Zhuxi was the downstream of changzhiyuan. In ancient times, the stream of Dagong was called changzhiyuan. In the inscription, it is said that King Xu Yan had built the house and built the river, and Changzhi was the source of changzhiyuan The footprints of King Yan. Because many yanwang temples are called Renhui temple, the reason why yanwang is revered by later generations is that he is kind and selfless. Many of them are named after kindness, but none of them are named after selflessness. Therefore, he created a new way to name Dagong hall with the meaning of selflessness, and to worship King Xu with the spirit of selflessness. In the Qing Dynasty, the Dagong hall has always had the custom of "troubling the temple". There are five "temple fairs" in a year, namely: "the first temple fair, the second temple fair, the sister temple fair, the Guan master temple fair, and the old Buddha Temple Fair". The first temple fair and the second temple fair are from the first month to April of the lunar calendar, and the specific time is uncertain, and the location is in the Dagong hall. The sister temple fair is also called "Guanyin temple fair", and the time is February 19. The Guan master temple fair is on the 13th of the first month On the first day of August, the old Buddhist Association is the biggest "noisy meeting" of the year, which is called emperor Xu's birthday or Tang Monk's memorial day. In order to keep the villagers clean and safe, they also set up leading organizations to buy mountains and farmland, and their income was used as the fund for the temple fair. Every year, the temple fair is the most popular on the first day of August, and the "Qingming lantern fair" is derived from the temple fair. Zhujiating is located on the right side of Dagong village stream in Sheyang township. It was built in 1813 and has been built for more than 20 generations. It has a history of more than 180 years. True to life, the hall is divided into two blocks, four blocks, and brick and wood structures. The upper and middle two buildings are carved with flowers, lions, Kirin and so on. Artistic woodcarving is the essence of the wooden carving. The main column is equipped with exquisite double lion wood carving, which is lifelike and has high artistic value. It is a rare art treasure. There were 54 auxiliary rooms and 7 patios in the East and West, which were connected with each other. Unfortunately, the auxiliary rooms were burned down by a fire in the late Qing Dynasty, leaving only Zhujia hall. There are six flagpole stones in front of the hall gate, with holes (0.6 m square). Half of one flagpole stone was destroyed, and the remaining five stones are in front of the hall gate, corresponding to each other. One pair of stones is engraved with Zhu feiran, zhuhuanran Jingli, the assistant chariot of Gengwu, and another pair is engraved with Zhu qingjingli, a Gongsheng. Wenzhi has six sons, who have been teaching for generations since Zhu feiran and Zhu Huanran. In front of the hall are roads and fields, and behind the hall are dwellings, which are not complete. Now they are managed and used by the Zhu family (more than 300 square meters).
