Longtan District Longtan District is one of the districts of Jilin City in Jilin Province. It is named after its location at the foot of Longtan mountain. Longtan District is located in the northeast of Jilin City, Jilin Province, on the North Bank of Songhua River. It gets its name because it is located at the foot of Longtan mountain. It is one of the four urban areas under the jurisdiction of Jilin City.
