Zeng Daowei? ~Yuan Lu, born in Nanhai County, Guangdong Province, was a Jinshi in the 38th year of Wanli (1610) of the Ming Dynasty. He was an official of the Longwu regime of the Southern Ming Dynasty, and was a minister of the Ministry of household and a Bachelor of Dongge.

Wanli 38 years (1610) Jinshi, granted the principal of the Ministry of punishment. He was transferred to be a doctor of the Ministry of punishment. He adhered to justice and refused to pay the powerful. He successively served as deputy envoys of tasting Town, Qingzhou and Wude. He was promoted to be an official inspector of Shandong Province and resigned to his hometown. in the early days of Tianqi (1621), he was appointed Deputy envoys of Hudong and Fuzhou. He was transferred to Jiangxi youbuzheng envoys. Because of Wei Zhongxian's employment, he did not go to the post. During the reign of Chongzhen, he was appointed as the right Minister of Zhejiang and the left Minister of Huguang. He resigned because his parents were old. When Emperor Longwu ascended the throne, he was promoted to the Secretary of the Ministry of household and the Bachelor of Dongge. When Guangzhou was occupied by the Japanese, he and Li Jue Si came down to the Qing Dynasty together. In the second year of Yongli (1648), Li Chengdong rebelled against the Qing Dynasty and revived the Ming Dynasty.
