Ye Qi (year of birth and death unknown), the word south, Jingkou (now Zhenjiang, Jiangsu) people, living in Huating (now Shanghai). His ancestors were officials in Jingkou, and his other business was wuhui in Songjiang. His father, ye Yiqing, lived in seclusion for a long time. Ye Qi was good at reading since he was a child, and he had no talent. He built a thatched cottage on yulingjing of Songjiang River, named Yinan. Yang Jue, who was born to keep Jiande, created a history of the Qing Dynasty. In the middle of Zhizheng period, the war spread to Xiangzi. Ye Qi once told Li Guofeng, who was appointed to manage the south of the Yangtze River, ten current affairs. He accepted Li Guofeng and was ready to give him the title of master of Dantu County, Zhenjiang road. However, the situation suddenly changed and he failed to do so. At the end of Yuan Dynasty, he lived in seclusion in Songjiang. Poetry and prose are sometimes famous. Eight of his poems were selected from Da Ya Ji, and two of them were selected from Wen Han Lei Xuan Da Cheng and Qian Xiyan of Qing Dynasty.
