Zhangge town is located in Liangyuan District, Shangqiu City, Henan Province. It is the east gate of Shangqiu City, adjacent to Shangqiu economic development zone and 12 km away from the city center. Shangyong highway, Longhai railway, 310 National Highway and Ji Guang Expressway cross the whole territory, with superior location and convenient transportation. It has jurisdiction over 16 administrative villages, 67 natural villages, 139 villager groups, 31000 people, 38700 mu of cultivated land and a town area of 40 square kilometers.
Industrial Development
Zhanggezhen's four leading industries are: melon and vegetable industry, with a planting area of more than 12000 mu, including 3500 mu of asparagus, 1000 mu of daylily, 340 mu of greenhouse, large-scale breeding and animal husbandry. With the annual output of 1000 tons of meat cooked food as the leader, the company has built a fattening base for 10000 beef cattle, two farms for 1000 pigs, and 45 farms for more than 100 pigs. Relying on the advantages of Zhangge railway station, the storage and transportation industry has built a provincial 1311 Grain Reserve of 30 million kg and a 20000 ton oil and gas reserve.
Miscellaneous fruit base
The famous and high-quality mixed fruit base covers an area of more than 4500 mu. The special mixed fruit production base centered on both sides of national highway 310 has begun to take shape, planting more than 1600 mu of American Heiti, Kat apricot, Japanese persimmon, Australian black plum, high-quality seedless grape, etc. The major projects of township enterprises include: Zhangge 220 kV power transmission and transformation project with an investment of more than 7 million yuan; Shangqiu Tianyuan oil and gas reserve with an investment of more than 40 million yuan; blessing Food Co., Ltd. with an investment of 5 million yuan; 1311 grain reserve with an investment of 2 million yuan; Liangyuan phosphate fertilizer plant with an investment of 1.2 million yuan.

Zhangge town has superior location, convenient transportation, rich resources and great development potential. Nowadays, every village in the town adheres to the policy of agriculture, rural areas and farmers, so as to realize the new countryside of connecting every village to the road, setting up street lamps, repairing water pipes, and reforming biogas. Education Summary
Zhangge town has three middle schools: Zhangge No.1 middle school, Donglou middle school and No.21 middle school, more than ten primary schools including Zhangge Central Primary School and Yangzhuang primary school, and one high school of Zhangge high school (now known as No.21 Middle School of Shangqiu City).
