Raojie (1065-1129), a monk poet in Song Dynasty. The word virtue, a word to keep, since the number Yisong Taoist, Yisong old man, after becoming a monk, the legal name such as wall. Linchuan, Jiangxi, is an important poet of Jiangxi poetry school. He studied in Lu Xizhe and was known as the "four talents of Linchuan" of Jiangxi poetry school together with Xie Yi, Wang Ge and Xie Zhen. Lu You called him the first poet monk at that time.
Life of the characters
Raojie was fond of learning when he was young. He once traveled to Hubei, Anhui and Henan. He was closely related to Xie Yi, Xie Juan and Wang Ge of Jiangxi poetry school, who studied from LV Xizhe. In his early years, he had a great ambition. When he encountered difficulties, he got drunk and didn't wake up for several days. Drunk often climb on the roof, HAOGE wailing, all night to come down. Once drunk, he jumped into the Bianhe river. Fortunately, he was rescued by a passenger boat, so he didn't get into the fish's belly (Volume 2 of notes of laoxuean). In Yuan Dynasty, Fu Jian became a disciple of Zengbu in the name of poetry. Later, he resigned because he asked to quote Huang Tingjian and Su Shi. In 1103, he became a monk at Xiangyan temple in Dengzhou, and his name was like a wall. In addition, he took the meaning of the poem of Zen master Xian, "Xian carries the Scriptures and leans on the pines, and asks where the guests come from" and called himself "Taoist Yisong" (Jiatai Pu Deng Lu, Volume 12). He went to hang tin in Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou, and later presided over Tianning Temple in Xiangyang. He devoted himself to the study of Buddhist scriptures. When he returned home in his later years, Gao Zong Jianyan died three years ago and was 65 years old.
Personal creation
Among the three monks (raojie, zuke and Shanquan) of Jiangxi poetry school, raojie's good poetry, especially gongfo's poetry, has the highest achievement. After becoming a monk, he often wrote poems about his leisure life: "where do the guests come from, carrying the Scriptures and leaning on the pines?" There are also works of chanting things, scenery, painting, and presenting to friends. The works are simple, pure, elegant, catchy and skillful in art, but there are many Zen words in the poems, which is also a common fault of Jiangxi poetry school. He is a close friend with LV benzhong and is listed in the "Jiangxi Poetry Society sect map". His poems are very delicate and deep in thought, which is not in the scope of "Jiangxi School", but his language is light, elegant and vigorous, with less ornamentation and carving. Jueju is especially casual and far away. He has a unique view and understanding of the scenery, and is good at showing the inner vitality of nature and his detached state of mind. Lu benzhong of the Southern Song Dynasty said in Ziwei Shihua: "in virtue poetry, Xiao San can't reduce pan yinglao. After becoming a monk, poetry is even more wonderful and almost out of reach." In Mo Zhuang man Lu, Zhang bangji also called his poem "happy sentences, worthy of predecessors". Lu You, who was at the same time with him, called his poems "the top among monks in recent times" (Volume 2 of notes of laoxuean). In the painting of Jiangxi poetry society, Lu benchong ranked Rao Jie fifth among the 25 members below Huang Tingjian. He wrote 14 volumes of Yi song Ji (the history of Song Dynasty, art and literature annals), which are mostly lost. There are only two volumes of Si Ku Quan Shu, which contains 370 poems. See Qing Guangxu's "Fuzhou Fu Zhi", "Jiatai Pu Deng Lu", "Wu Deng Hui Yuan".
