Shi Lin
Shi Lin (1953 -), male, from Huangshi City, Hubei Province. He is now a professor and master's supervisor of College of Arts of Hubei Normal University, a cross century discipline leader of Hubei provincial universities, and a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Hubei Province.
Profile
He graduated from the Chinese Department of Hubei Normal University (formerly Huangshi branch of central China Normal University) in December 1975 and was assigned to work in the Propaganda Department of Wuhan Institute of Chemical Technology (formerly Hubei Institute of chemical technology and petroleum). He was transferred back to teach in the Chinese Department of Hubei Normal University in April 1979. From 1979 to 1980, he studied in the Chinese Department of Hubei University (formerly Wuhan Normal University) for one year, and from 1984 to 1985, he studied in the "song, yuan, Ming and Qing literature assistant training class" of the Chinese Department of Shandong University for one year. He was a lecturer in 1987, an associate professor in 1992 and a professor in January 1996. In 1997, he was rated as the interdisciplinary leader of Hubei Provincial Universities and the young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions in Hubei Province. In 1998, he was rated as the outstanding communist party member commended by Hubei Provincial Higher Education Working Committee. In 1999, he won the third prize of Zeng Xianzi Education Foundation University Teacher Award. He has been rated as "Excellent Communist Party member of Hubei University" and "third prize of excellent teacher award of Higher Normal University of Zeng Xianzi Education Fund". The main academic part-time jobs include vice president of Chinese society of Water Margin, director of Chinese society of romance of the Three Kingdoms, director of Chinese Sanqu society, vice president of Hubei society of classical literature, and researcher of "Research Institute of Chinese Classical Novels" of Hubei Federation of social sciences.
Teaching and research achievements
In the past 30 years of higher education, Mr. Shi Lin has taught undergraduate and master students of Chinese major "literature of yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties", "history of Chinese ancient novels", "literary schools of Ming and Qing Dynasties", "Research on Chinese ancient novels", "Research on Jin Yuanming's poetry", "history of Chinese opera", "Introduction to Chinese culture", "Research on Chinese ancient opera masterpieces", "poetry of yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties" and "dream of Red Mansions" 》More than ten courses, such as "research", "criticism of ancient Chinese Novels", "teaching and research of Chinese classical literature", have been taught to non Chinese major undergraduates and correspondence students, such as "College Chinese", "appreciation of ancient Chinese Novels" and "selection of ancient Chinese literary works". From 1995 to 2008, Mr. Shi Lin trained 20 postgraduates, all of whom have graduated. At present, there are two postgraduate students under cultivation.
