Tian Maoyu, a native of Qingpu, Jiangsu Province, was named Ji Gong, who was named Liu Yuan. The year of birth and death is not known, about the end of Shunzhi in Qing Dynasty. Chen Zilong called it as a great tool when he was young. In the 14th year of zhongshunzhi (1657 A.D.), there were many people. Zhili New Town magistrate, not to go. Take the example of "erudite scholars" and report it. When he was a Hakka capital, he sang with Wang Chongjian and Wei Yijie. He is mellow and modest, and hospitable. After the death of Zilong, he also rented the official land for 20 years on behalf of his son, which was also the collection of Ziqi. In his later years, he built a thatched cottage in the west of the river and collected thousands of books. Maoyu is a good writer, and his writing is an ancient poem. His works include Shuixi Caotang collection, Yantai Wenchao, Gaoyan collection, Qingping Ci, etc.
The family is poor and hospitable. After Chen Zilong's death, he returned the land to rent for 20 years on behalf of the Chen family, and published a collection for Chen Zilong. Shunzhi fourteen years (1657) after the election, granted the New Town magistrate, not to go. After returning home, he visited the former sites of Zhao Mengfu and Yang Weizhen. He was filled with emotion. He built "Shuixi thatched cottage" and "Shaoyuan" and other places. He collected ten thousand volumes of books, hundreds of gold and stone paintings, local literature and works of local celebrities. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi, Chen Zilong's posthumous works, such as Qingping Ci, Gaoyan Ji, Yantai Wenchao, Shiwu Guofeng, and Shuixi Caotang Ji, were published.
