Wang Geng
Wang Geng (1895-1942), a general of the Kuomintang army, was born in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. He graduated from Tsinghua University, then studied in the United States, went to the University of Michigan, Columbia University and Princeton University, and then went to West Point Military Academy. He graduated and returned to China in 1918 and worked in the Army Department of Beijing government.

He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1915 with outstanding results, ranking 14th (116 liberal arts students in total). In 1915, he received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Princeton University. Military career
In 1918, when Lu Zhengxiang was at the Paris peace conference, he needed the help of military experts studying abroad to fight for China's rights. Wang Geng became a military officer of the Chinese delegation to the Paris Peace Conference and a foreign language translator of the Ministry of foreign affairs. In 1923, he served as deputy commander of the road protection army of the Ministry of communications, and was promoted to major general of the army in the same year.
At the end of 1924, he served as the director of Harbin Police Department. He also served as the chief of staff of the joint forces headquarters of the five provinces, the former artillery commander of the enemy, the armored vehicle commander and so on.
