Dugu Shenshu, a writer of the Tang Dynasty, is a famous writer. Luoyang (now Henan) people. Zhenyuan 13 years (797) ascended Jinshi. In 15 years, he studied the subject of macro Ci and was awarded the title of secretary. He was good at Fu and song, and had good relations with Han Yu, Liu Zongyuan and Liu Yuxi.

In the 12th year of Zhenyuan, Wang Shiping, the son-in-law of the emperor, turned against Princess Yiyang. Cai Nan Shi and Dugu Shen Shu broadcast the music, which is called yiyangzi. Social evaluation

Liu Zongyuan commented that he was "deep and thick in literature, especially in ancient elegance and good at ode, which should be attributed to the Tao" (tomb tablet of Dugu Jun, Secretary of the provincial school of the deceased friend). There is one poem in Quan Tang Shi and six articles in Quan Tang Wen. His life story can be seen in the volume 588 of the whole Tang Dynasty, Liu Zongyuan's tomb tablet of Dugu Jun, a deceased friend's secretary, and the volume 568 of Han Yu's mourning for uncle Dugu Shen.
