Li Shaohe (930-1021) is a famous scholar with soft character. Shaohe is another name. He is a native of Lixi Township, Yongjia, Wenzhou City. During the Kaibao period of the Northern Song Dynasty (968-976), Jinshi became a scholar.
He was once a doctor of Taixue. After resigning, he went back to his hometown to study the art of Qihuang, practicing medicine and treating diseases, with a great reputation. From 976-984 to Baishi mountain in Yueqing, the peak of jade steamer was lifted to the sky, and the mountain was secluded and the cave was deep. In the early years of Chunhua (990-994), Emperor Taizong of the Song Dynasty summoned him to Beijing to inquire about the art, and wrote "the first mountain". In the second year of Zhidao (996), he called to the biandian temple to give orders and services, not to return. After he ascended the throne (998), Zhenzong was summoned again, and the reward was very abundant. The villagers of houlixi built Lixi nunnery for it, which is honored as "Li's immortal". Pilgrims from all over Wenzhou come here with great popularity.
