Liu Jingzhi
Liu Jingzhi, born in 1880 in Sanmen village, Xinming Township, is an enlightened gentleman and a famous Anti Japanese Democrat. At the age of 12, Jing Zhi began to study business, and loved novels and all kinds of romance. In his later years, he liked to read Li Bai, Du Fu, Lu Xun and other poems. In order to manage tea as a lifelong career, set up tea shops in Nanjing, Yangzhou and other places. Houkui is the famous tea he promoted. He was a tea merchant in Taiping County at that time. Since 1924, he has been in charge of township administration and founded three primary schools to educate people. After the explosion of the Anti Japanese War, Jing Zhi served soldiers in Sanmen residence, known as "compulsory military station".

He once served as the chairman of Nanjing Tea Association and contributed to the sales and development of Taiping tea. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he successively served as the people's representative of Taiping County and member of the South Anhui people's political office, attended the first session of the first CPPCC Committee of Anhui Province, and was employed as a librarian of the provincial culture and history museum. On December 30, 1965, he died of illness in Nanjing at the age of 85. He was the author of a brief review of 80 years.

Since 1972, he has successively served as director of the Cultural Bureau of Liaoning Province, deputy leader of the propaganda group of the provincial Party committee, deputy director and Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Liaoning provincial Party committee, deputy president of the Xinhua news agency and Secretary of the Party group of the organ. In 1982, he was Secretary of the CPC Jilin Provincial Committee; in 1985, he was elected chairman of the fifth Jilin Provincial Committee of the CPPCC. He died in Changchun on January 16, 1993 at the age of 73.
