Pearl of the sea

Located on the top of Dongdu Huwei mountain, the sea pearl tower integrates the functions of meteorological disaster monitoring, science education, tourism and night view. It is equipped with a national intangible cultural heritage museum and a 360 degree panoramic viewing platform of the sea garden. The vase shaped tower, with 19 floors, was completed in December 2004, with the top elevation of 195 meters. It is the first steel structure building put into use in Xiamen. There are astronomy and Meteorology Science Museum and astronomical projection hall in the podium. The light green tempered glass exterior wall sets off the tower in a beautiful way. The modern photoelectric technology adds a beautiful scenery to the night scene of Xiamen. The radome on the top of the tower looks like a pearl in the distance. Today, the tower has become a landmark building in Xiamen.

In the spring of 1974, Ling Yanshan married to Phoenix Island to be her new daughter-in-law. She found that Cui min, the vice captain, was illegally reselling nylon thread, revealing Cui min's conspiracy.

Introduction to the story

In the spring of 1974, it was a good day for Ling Yanzi. She wants to marry to Phoenix Island as a new daughter-in-law. On her way to marriage, she finds that Cui min, the vice captain, is illegally reselling nylon thread. Ling Yanzi catches him. Ling's father-in-law, boss Guo, is the Secretary of the Party branch of the brigade. He thinks that Cui min is increasing income for the collective. There is nothing wrong with this practice, and he supports Cui min's civilian ships to transport. After arriving at Fenghuang Island, with the support of Secretary Zhou of the commune, the swallow bravely took on the responsibility of the leader of the breeding team, and used the boat to grow kelp and build a sea farm. Cui min colludes with sun Jinhuan's cousin, the fishing bully's youngest wife, and plans to trade fresh fish for machines, so as to deceive boss Guo who doesn't know the truth. The swallow pasted a big character newspaper to expose Cui min's conspiracy in time. In order to bring down the kelp culture team, Cui min encouraged fishermen to "catch up with the small sea". At the political night school, the swallow, with the title of "picking up the basket", mobilized the masses to criticize the "capitalist tendency" of "driving the small sea". Cui min was full of hatred. On a windy night, he secretly untied the boat cable, smashed the biggest breeding boat on the team, and then instigated boss Guo to withdraw the breeding team. He also exerted pressure on boss Guo with an anonymous letter in an attempt to drive the swallow away by boss Guo's hand . Swallow pays close attention to class struggle, educates father-in-law with a series of facts, and patiently helps shuimanzi to draw a line with her husband Cui min. Shuimanzi exposed her husband Cui min's crime of sabotaging the breeding boat, and the crowd was furious. Cui min's "crime of sabotaging the agricultural xuedazhai village" was thoroughly criticized. After this so-called "new bourgeois" was dug out, the sea planting experiment was also successful, and the kelp harvest was great.
