It is located at the intersection of Renmin Street and Beijing street in Changchun City. It covers an area of 286300 square meters, including 13000 square meters of water surface. It was built in 1915 and is the first park in Changchun history. After 1948, the municipal government made a new plan and built animal area, flower area, goldfish area, dreamland, water activity area and lotus pool. And a large area of greening, so that the park shade trees, pavilions and pavilions set off in the red willow green.

Shengli Park, a wave shaped corridor in Hunan, is built on the undulating hillside with novel design and twists and turns. In spring and summer, both sides of the corridor are covered with roses, giving out a clear fragrance.

At the same time, it also introduced 13 latest entertainment items, such as torrent Yongjin, three ring roller coaster, big pendulum and high altitude flying. Park history

Shengli Park began to be called the West Park. The construction of the West Park started with the construction of small greenhouses and the cultivation of flowers in the park. After that, Japanese Bomei shirazawa entered the history of the park. After he completed the design of the garden project, a large number of Chinese workers, according to the design, changed the ditch into a stream, moved stones to build embankments, built bridges at the end of the island, and inserted willows at the lakeside. By 1921, the park had been built on a large scale, ranging from the rest hall, stool, toilet and other ancillary equipment. Two years later, an open baseball field was set up in the park. The next year, the main gate of the park and the animal fence were also built. In the eyes of many people's curiosity, the camel presented by Mongolian general babuzab strides into the hospital with a high head and a leisurely attitude, and is scattered in the animal fence, which successfully attracts the eyes of tourists. There are 15978 trees with more than 100 years old in the West Park, with more than 10 tree species. There are also two bodhi trees in the park, which are the oldest in Changchun. Unfortunately, one of them was blown down by the wind in 1932, and one died naturally after the restoration. Yu Qiyuan, editor in chief of Changchun City annals, once wrote: "in the early 1930s, among the affiliated places of the Manchurian Railway, the West Park was famous for its modern facilities and vast area. At that time, the park was free of charge, but almost all visitors were Japanese. " After the fall of Northeast China in 1931, the West Park became a window for the puppet capital Xinjing. After several years of investment, the internal facilities were more perfect. At this time, the main scenic spot of West Park is lake water. The whole park is divided into East and west parts by two large and small lakes. In the south, there are two small islands. In the East, there are big islands with green pines and weeping willows. In the west, there are small islands with red plums and cloves. The two islands are about 3 meters apart and connected by a small bridge. There is also a bridge on the bank leading to the two islands, which is convenient for walking. There is a sluice gate in the north of the great lake. The water flows directly into a small waterfall and flows directly into the opposite lake. There is no island in the small lake, but it is more elegant. The lotus in the lake is moving with the breeze, and the faint fragrance of lotus comes.

Another name of Shengli park is "Er Yu Park", which originated from the bronze statue of Er Yu Yuan taro erected at the entrance of the park in 1938. In fact, this person has nothing to do with the construction of the park. He just served as the chairman of the "Establishment Committee of Manchuria Railway". On the one hand, the Japanese are dedicated to the military industry and the establishment of the "Manchurian Railway", but also to the establishment of an image of a military man who symbolizes the "imperial army marching south". The finished bronze statue is 4.5 meters high and more than 5 meters wide.

The Puppet Manchurian government also attached great importance to this park, and held many large-scale activities here, such as the heaven comforting ceremony, "Fengying garden tour meeting", "Fengying sports meeting" and Puyi's military exercises. After the restoration of Northeast China, the fate of the park has changed again. After the fall of the puppet regime, the park was in a state of no management. Some of the animals in the hospital became delicacies on the dining table. Loneliness is synonymous with the park. A large number of Japanese businessmen poured into the park, and the former picturesque park became a noisy refugee camp. All the delusions about encroachment are disillusioned in sorrow and fear. The cloth tent, the grass shed, the crying of women and the howling of children are like the decadence of the park During the Soviet Army's military control of Changchun, the park received a new name Lu Xun Park. Mr. Yu Qiyuan said that it was a little-known name. It did not last long. After the Kuomintang occupied Changchun in May 1946, the park was renamed Zhongshan Park. The name has changed, but the fate of the park has not improved. The bronze statue of Er Yu on horseback, which weighs a thousand kilograms, lies on all fours in the long grass. The lake turns green and stinks, and the weeds grow thick. It becomes a desolate garden. Until the liberation of Changchun in 1948, Zhongshan Park finally survived the difficult years. After the liberation of Changchun, the park was restored and rebuilt. In 1949, the park was renamed Shengli Park, implying that the park was reborn because the people won the victory. Later, the main entrance of the park replaced the portrait of Sun Yat Sen with a standing portrait of Chairman Mao. After the vicissitudes of life, this former animal and plant paradise has gradually become what people see today. Teacher Yu Qiyuan said: "in the past 100 years, it has witnessed the disaster and disgrace of Changchun, and also reflected the vicissitudes of the city." So history is willing to remember it and always love it.
