Tieshanping Forest Park is one of the main natural parks in the suburbs of Chongqing. It is located in a green barrier in the east of the main urban area of Chongqing. Traffic information

Take bus no.813 from Guanyinqiao to Tieshanping, the ticket price is 2 yuan; you can also take bus no.817 (from Guanyinqiao to Wangjiang) to get off at nvzhizhong station, go up the highway next to No.18 Middle School, or get off at Yueliangwan station, and transfer to 813, the ticket price is 2 yuan.

Natural scenery

There are 326 species of forest vegetation belonging to 1 family, which are full of wild interests. The plum orchards of 1000 mu in the forest give off fragrance every winter when they are in full bloom.

The park has overlapping mountains, beautiful peaks, shady trees, more than 100 kinds of plants competing for beauty and wild interest. The forest park covers an area of 20000 mu, with dense forest, fresh air, suitable climate and excellent environmental quality. It is the nearest tourist and summer resort in the east of Chongqing.

There are hot springs and historic sites in the forest, such as Luohan cave, Dishuiyan, wuduoshi, Yingzuiyan, and Sanguan Temple (site) left by Emperor Jianwen of Ming II. There are more than 30 hotels and villas, which can accommodate nearly 4000 people every day. They attract tourists by boating in lakes, barbecue bonfires, hunting with a bow, shooting with live ammunition, camping in tents, etc.

Yingzui cliff

At the east foot of Tieshanping, outside the Dagou mountains. Because there are garden stones as big as houses, like eagles, with head and mouth, "Yingzui cliff" hence its name. It is said that a few years ago, there were vultures perching on the rocks at night. Later, due to deforestation and killing of vultures, vultures were once extinct. In recent years, the forest has been protected, and the vultures of Northwest Leah have begun to live in Tieshanping. It is said that there are also people who have settled down on Yingzui cliff. The terrain of Yingzui cliff is precipitous. There is only a winding path from the top of Dagou mountain to Yingzui boulder. "Hawk mouth" boulder around, shade cover, appears quiet magic. When you climb up to the top of the "Yingzui" stone, you can have a panoramic view of the Yangtze River; when you look down at the Fu head, you can have a panoramic view of the "ten li Wangjiang (factory)".

Tongluo Gorge

Tongluo gorge is located at the southern end of Tieshanping ridge. According to "Ba county annals" Volume 1, page 17 records: "the gorge cliff under the river, there are garden stones such as Gong shape, so the name." According to the records of Huayang state, when Dayu dredged the Jiuhe River, he saw a mountain blocking the way to the Yangtze River, so he opened it with an axe, and the crack of the mountain was Tongluo gorge. It is recorded in page 3 of Ba county annals that Cao Xuequan, a Jinshi of Ming Dynasty, wrote that Tongluo gorge was named after the sound of water.

Known as the "green pearl", Tieshan Forest Park is one of the four major natural parks in Chongqing. The mountain range is 50 Li Long and the main peak is 584 meters above sea level. Park transportation: the scenic spot is only 26 kilometers away from Chongqing Jiangbei Guanyin bridge. Bus No. 813 from Guanyin bridge to Tieshanping costs 2 yuan. You can also take bus No. 817 (from Guanyin bridge to Wangjiang) at the fork of the road, and the fare is 2 yuan. You can walk up directly. In addition, there is Tongluo Xiakou hot spring, which can wash away dust and fatigue for tourists.

The opening of national highway 319 and the construction of Wugui road with an investment of nearly 730 million yuan not only improve the traffic conditions leading to Tieshanping (it only takes more than 20 minutes from the main urban area to Tieshanping), but also connect several park attractions.

Park accommodation: there are nearly 10 resorts and more than 30 characteristic farmhouses on Tieshanping. The consumption standard is 70-150 yuan per person for three meals and one night.
