Ge hongxiandan

Gehongxiandan is located in nanqingyuan scenic area. Ge Hong, one of the founders of Danding sect of Taoism, is regarded as the founder of Sanqing mountain and is highly respected in Sanqing mountain. From 357 to 361 A.D., Ge Hongyun toured Sanqing mountain and practiced Taoism in this section of Lu. Up to now, there are traces of alchemy left by GE Hongyun at that time. The top of the mountain looks like a Taoist holding a gourd with medicine, so people named it "Gehong".

Ge Hong

Ge Hong (AD 284-364) was a famous alchemist and pharmacist in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. Zhichuan, Han nationality, was born in Jurong, Danyang County of Jin Dynasty (now Jurong County of Jiangsu Province). The nephew and grandson of Ge Xuan, the founder of the Three Kingdoms, is called xiaoxianweng. He was once canonized as the Marquis of Guannei, and later lived in seclusion in Luofu Mountain to refine alchemy. His works include "behind the elbow".

Mount Sanqingshan

Sanqing mountain, also known as Shaohua mountain and Ya mountain, is located at the junction of Yushan County and Dexing City, Shangrao City, Jiangxi Province, China. The three peaks of Yujing, yuxu and Yuhua are just like the Taoist Yuqing, Shangqing and Taiqing gods sitting on the top of the mountain. Gehong Xiandan is located in the scenic spot of Nanqing garden. The shape of the top of the mountain is similar to a Taoist holding a medicine gourd.
