Mawei Island
Mawei island is located in the southwest of Hailing Island, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province. It is connected with the mountains of Zhapo town. The coastline is tortuous and has many bays. The longest circle is 1 km, surrounded by the sea on three sides. In fact, the total area of Mawei island is 1.3 square kilometers, and the beach is about 1.25 km long. Mawei island is covered with trees, the sea bottom is gentle, and the water surface is calm. The wide water safety zone is favored by tourists. It is worth mentioning that "sunset on horsetail", which is the westernmost corner of the island, is the best place to watch the sunset.
