Pull 1610 meters. There are two huge stones at the top of the peak, which are like stone figures, sitting opposite each other, just like carved stones. According to the old myths and legends, Xuanyuan Yellow Emperor and Fuqiu wanted to travel here, and the aura became a stone man after it ascended to heaven. Hence the name. In the stone people, it is said that the southward one is Xuanyuan, and the northward one is floating craftsman. The stone wall under it is more than 500 cases high, and no ape can reach it. There is a poem in the Ming Dynasty, which says, "the people in the peak are green, the cliffs are flying and the springs are flowing. There are two stones on it, which are just like talking about metaphysics. " Cheng Yuchen of the Qing Dynasty also had a poem chanting: "the two peaks suspect that people are unreal, but not true, and the spirit is revealed in the summer. It is said that after the Xuan Dynasty, Qiu Bo was floating, and he was king in the South and minister in the north. " There is immortal cave under the peak, which is named after the peak.
Related Legends
From Jiuhua street to the west of datouling, not far away, you can see a steep stone mountain under Ershi peak. It's called Xianren peak, also known as xiangujian. The peak looks like an immortal facing pingtiangang. It's said that it's the place where Dou Ziming became an immortal.
Dou Ziming was born in Pei county of the Western Han Dynasty, and was the magistrate of Lingyang (now Qingyang) during the reign of Yuanfeng of the Han Dynasty. He is a man of faith
In his spare time, he often came to Jiuhua Mountain to preach Taoism. It is said that one day he caught a white fish in the stream under shibaoyan. He took the fish back to his house and let the kitchen cook. When the kitchen cut the fish apart, it was found that there was a plain silk in the belly of the fish, which was full of symbols like but not like words. The kitchen will present the plain silk to the children. When Zi Ming looked at it carefully, he was overjoyed and said, "good! Good!" it turned out that this silk was written in the book of heaven to teach Zi Ming how to make pills and how to take them.
As a result, Ziming went to Huangshan Mountain (Huangshanling, Chizhou) to extract stone grease (ore) for alchemy. Three years later, after taking it, I felt like I was flying in the clouds. He suddenly climbed to the top of the fairy, and saw a white dragon flying in the stream at the foot of the mountain, shaking its head and tail and flying to Zi Ming. Ziming rode on the white dragon to become an immortal. Xiangujian is also called xianrenfeng. Soon after, the two young ladies of Ziming also took the pills left by their father and rose to heaven in fuyanfeng, east of Xianren peak.
The myth of Dou Ziming's alchemy has attracted many Taoists who want to ascend to heaven and become immortals, the most prominent of which is Ge Hong of Jin Dynasty. He was born in Danyang, Jiangsu Province, and was a representative of Taoism at that time.
When he came to the foot of Shuangfeng Mountain in Jiuhua Mountain, he not only practiced alchemy, but also wrote 116 chapters of baopuzi, which was devoted to the methods of alchemy and eating. At present, there are also sites of alchemy well and Gexian cave in the north of woyun mountain. Then Zhao Zhiwei of the Tang dynasty built Yanhua temple in Fenghuangling and preached alchemy. At that time, Taoism was popular. There were more than 20 Taoist temples in Jiuhua Mountain, which attracted many famous Taoist scholars to seek immortality. It is said that Li Bai came to Jiuhua Mountain to visit the scenery on the one hand, and to seek the immortal's advice on the other hand. He wanted to lead a free and romantic immortal's life of "eclosion riding the sun and moon, clouds flying wings and mandarin ducks". Therefore, he went to Xianren peak and Shuangfeng several times to search for relics and Taoists. He envied the life of "qingyingyushu color, misty feather family" and hoped that he would become an immortal one day. Even in the Ming Dynasty, Wang Yangming, who wanted to become famous, could not help but write down the poem "the immortal asked me to go, waving his hand at Qingyun Duan" when he traveled to Xianren peak.
It can be seen that Taoism was also influential in Jiuhua Mountain at that time. Later, because some rulers praised Buddhism and suppressed Taoism, especially after monk Jin qiaojue passed away, Jiuhua Mountain became one of the four Buddhist holy places in China. However, many Taoist relics and legends, such as xianrenfeng, Shuangfeng and guolaoshi, are still talked about by people today.
