Zoucheng museum is one of the first batch of national third-class museums. Located in the south of Zoucheng City, east of Yishan Road. It is connected with tangwanghu Park in the south, Hujiashan in the East, Mengmiao temple and Mengfu in the West. It has superior geographical location, unique cultural environment and convenient transportation. The shape of the museum is a traditional antique building, facing south from north. The main body of the building is axial symmetry. The building is grand and grand, with strong regional cultural characteristics, creating a historical atmosphere of Zou Lu culture. This historical and Cultural Palace has become a landmark of Zoucheng.
Introduction to the Museum
Zoucheng Museum covers a total area of 24500 square meters (36.8 mu), with a construction area of 12500 square meters. The main building has four floors, of which the first floor is the cultural relics warehouse area. There are 11 exhibition halls on the three floors above the ground, which are: five exhibition halls on the first floor, which are the light of Zou Lu civilization (Prehistoric Culture), bronze ware (Shang and Zhou Culture), ancient stone carving art (Qin and Han Culture), Zoucheng cultural relics and temporary exhibition hall. The first floor also has VIP room, reception room, shop, office room and security monitoring room. There are five exhibition halls on the two floor. They are the rubbing exhibition, the ancient pottery, the ancient painting and calligraphy, the Ming Lu Wang Zhu Tan tomb cultural relics exhibition and the temporary exhibition hall. On the second floor, there are academic lecture hall, conference room and office room. On the third floor, there is a large exhibition hall to display the life and deeds of Yasheng Mencius.

Zoucheng museum is a comprehensive historical museum, which mainly displays the 6000 year long history of Zou Lu culture, major archaeological discoveries and achievements in the past 50 years since the founding of the people's Republic of China, and various types of cultural relics and treasures in various periods. 1. Zou Lu civilization light (the East Exhibition Hall of the preface hall on the first floor): with a construction area of 313, 3 square meters, the exhibition is divided into two parts, displaying 100 Neolithic cultural relics with YEDIAN site in Zoucheng as the main content. The first part: pottery, including pottery tripod, pottery bean, pottery cuvette, pottery cuvette, pottery cup, etc. The second part: jade ring, jade shovel, stone axe, stone shovel, stone carving, bone ornaments, bone shaped utensils, etc. (restoration of Neolithic people's production and living scene model). The exhibition should reflect the long history of Zoucheng's civilization and show the social features of Zoucheng's early social period.
2. Ancient bronzes (exhibition hall in the northeast corner of the first floor): with a construction area of 417.8 square meters, the exhibition is divided into five parts, displaying 120 pieces of bronze relics unearthed from the Shang, Zhou, Han and Jin Dynasties in Zoucheng. The first part: 30 pieces of bronze ritual vessels, including bronze tripod, bronze cudgel, bronze cudgel, copper bean, copper Jue, copper cudgel, copper Gu, copper you, copper spoon, copper washing, copper cudgel, copper plate, etc., and 9 pieces of tripod in the Warring States period. The second part: 20 pieces of weapons, including bronze dagger, bronze sword, bronze crossbow and bronze arrowhead. The third part: Bronze musical instruments: Yongzhong, tongrao and so on. According to the style of Bianzhong unearthed in Zoucheng, a complete set of large-scale Bianzhong was copied. The fourth part: more than 40 bronze mirrors, including the Han, Tang, song, yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties. The fifth part: Bronze seals, bronze chariots and horses, etc. Through the exhibition, the history of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, bronze civilization and bronze art of Zoucheng should be fully displayed. 3. Ancient stone carving art (exhibition hall in the southeast corner of the first floor): with a building area of 451 square meters and 5 square meters, the exhibition is divided into three parts, displaying 60 pieces of exquisite stone carvings of the Qin and Han Dynasties, Han Dynasty stone reliefs and three-dimensional stone carvings. The first part: three pieces of Qin and Han Dynasty stone carvings, including Qin Yishan stone carvings and laizihou stone carvings of the Western Han Dynasty. The second part: 43 stone carvings of Han Dynasty, involving social production, social life, stories of historical figures, myths and legends. The third part: 12 pieces of three-dimensional round carvings, including stone man and stone goat in Han Dynasty, stone man, stone goat and stone beast in Jin Dynasty. Panlongzhu in Yuan Dynasty. The exhibition has a wide range of contents and diverse styles. Zoucheng cultural relics (exhibition hall on the west side of the preface hall on the first floor): with a construction area of 304.9 square meters, the exhibition is divided into three parts, displaying 100 pieces (groups) of representative cultural relics of Zoucheng scholars in different periods. The first part: 23 bronzes, including inscriptions, weapons, musical instruments and mirrors. The second part: 42 pieces of ceramics, including pottery quantity, painted pottery, engraved tomb brick, pottery ox carriage, three color furnace, tomb figurines of Ming Dynasty, celadon tiger and water note, blue and white cloud dragon jar and entangled branch plum vase, three foot furnace and double ear bottle of Longquan kiln, etc. The third part: 20 pieces of gold, silver and jade ware, including jade Bi, jade sword head, jade belt, cuiniu, cuima, cuibangle, stone saw, weiqizi, Jiaoye white inkstone, etc. Through this exhibition, we can fully display the historical treasures of Zou Lu culture. 5. Ancient ceramics (exhibition room on the east side of the second floor): the building area is 313.3 square meters. The exhibition is divided into two parts. It is expected to display 120 pieces of ceramics from Shang and Zhou Dynasties to Ming and Qing Dynasties. The first part: 60 pieces of pottery, including the Shang Dynasty pottery pots and pots unearthed from the fertilizer factory site, the Shang Dynasty pottery pots unearthed from the Xiding site, the pottery quantity and inscriptions of the Eastern Zhou Dynasty unearthed from the ancient city site of Ying State, the painted pottery spinning and pottery boxes of the Western Han Dynasty unearthed from the Longshui tomb group, the pottery stoves and pots of the Eastern Han Dynasty unearthed from the miaodong tomb, the glazed pottery pots of the Three Kingdoms unearthed from the Xiezhuang tomb, and the pottery of the Western Jin Dynasty unearthed from Liubao tomb. 6. North Dynasty cliff carving rubbings Exhibition (exhibition hall in the northeast corner of the second floor): the construction area is 417.8 square meters. The exhibition is divided into five parts: Tieshan carving, Gangshan carving, Geshan carving, Jianshan carving and Fengshan carving in Zoucheng. The content is mainly the North Dynasty cliff carving rubbings in Zoucheng, supplemented by photos and words. Through the exhibition, it will vividly reappear the overall style and features of Zoucheng's Northern Dynasty cliff carvings, show its historical and artistic value, and further show the cultural connotation of the historical and cultural city.
7. Ancient painting and calligraphy costumes (southeast corner exhibition hall on the second floor): the building area is 451.5 square meters, and the exhibition is divided into two parts. The first part: it is expected to display 40 paintings and calligraphy in the collection, including the works of Dong Qichang, Ding Yunpeng, Lan Ying, Shen Zhou, Li Ying, Zheng Xie, Wang Hui, Yun Shou and other famous calligraphers and painters in Ming and Qing Dynasties. The second part: 10 pieces of costumes, mainly the Yuan Dynasty costumes unearthed from Li Yu'an's tomb, including Lu embroidery landscape figure skirts, Lu Embroidery Flower women's skirts, Lu embroidery women's shoes, Lu Embroidery Flower figure women's jiapao and other rare products with typical characteristics of Lu embroidery.
