Historical evolution
The nunnery is close to the mountain and water, the nunnery is small and exquisite, and the scenery is quiet. It has always been a summer resort. The statues, scriptures, magic weapons and signboards of the original temples were destroyed in the cultural revolution. In 1981, the cultural relics department of Luoyang City repaired it and expanded it in 1993. In 1996, the Luoyang Municipal government allocated funds to rebuild the luzu temple. In addition to restoring the main hall Chunyang Hall - the statue of luzu and the vice hall Chongsheng Hall - the statue of luzu's parents, it also provided rooms on both sides of the Mountain Gate with eight immortals statues, known as the eight immortals hall. Two large blue brick reliefs were added to the inner walls of the two walls of the front courtyard - "Confucius, Lao Tzu out of cold" "Lu zuzha's red dragon and yellow crane will never return" and "Liuli Erlong Xizhu".
Historical records
According to the inscriptions in the temple, Ren Zhongfu, a famous scholar in Luoyang, first donated money to build the temple in the 32nd year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1694 A.D.), and then continued to build it.
