Bamenwan greenway is located in the north of Qinglan harbor where eight rivers, including Wenchang River, Wenjiao River and Hengshan River, converge. Greenway Construction

Bamen Bay greenway is one of the important measures taken by Wenchang municipal Party committee and government to build an important tourism city in Hainan's tourism network system, relying on its own unique natural resources of "sea, river, port, bay and forest" and cultural tourism resources characterized by "hometown of overseas Chinese" .

The bamenwan greenway spans four towns: Wencheng, Dongge, culture and education, and Dongjiao. The first phase of the greenway is 54 km long, including 45 km of main line and 9 km of branch line. The greenway connects with the characteristic landscape resources of the bay area. With seven themes of mangrove landscape greenway, Yanwan ecological leisure greenway, farmhouse cultural leisure greenway, historical and cultural experience greenway, rural countryside landscape greenway, fishing village experience greenway and coconut Sea style greenway, bamen Bay greenway is attractive and nostalgic. The overall structure of bamen Bay greenway is "one belt and five cores". The "one belt" is the main bicycle lane around bamen Bay. The "five cores" are the core of mangrove ecological leisure area in Wencheng, the core of Dongge farmhouse entertainment area, the core of cultural and educational field scenery leisure area, the core of fishing village customs area in eastern suburbs and the core of Yehai leisure area.

reserve

The center of the reserve is located at 199 ° 34'n, 110 ° 45'e, along the Qinglan harbor of Wenchang City. The protected area is 2948ha and the forest area is 2732ha. The jurisdiction includes fengjiagang, puqiangang, etc. The nature reserve was approved in 1981. It was originally a county-level nature reserve and has been upgraded to a provincial nature reserve.

The management station is located in Touyuan village. Although the total protected area of the reserve is less than that of Dongzhaigang reserve, the forest area is large and the age of the forest is long. Many forest facies show the characteristics of primary forest. If the tree age of the forest is more than 100 years, the diameter at breast height of some trees is 1.2m, the structure of the forest is complex, and many epiphytes and lianas fly among them.

In addition to the mangrove plant species basically the same as Dongzhaigang, there is a unique forest of Rhizophora apiculata, which forms a magnificent landscape along the Bank of Xiacun village. A small community can be seen here. The snakelike respiratory root of the fruit sock is typical here. Four species of the genus Sonneratia, namely, Sonneratia hainanensis, Sonneratia beizunensis, Sonneratia macrophylla and Sonneratia hainanensis, are naturally distributed here, and their shoot like respiratory roots form the obvious color of these species. It is not common in the natural community of Dongzhaigang, but it is common in the edge of tidal flat forest in the nature reserve. It is associated with other mangrove plants. Mangrove plants such as Mangifera Mangifera and Elaeagnus glauca are more easily found in Dongzhaigang natural community. Obviously, the diversity of species here is better than that of Dongzhai port, which is typical and rare.
