Huayi bank
Huayi bank, founded in 1920, is a joint venture between Chinese and Italian businessmen. It was founded on May 6, 1920. Its head office is located in Tianjin, and its address is in middle street of French Concession (now Jiefang North Road). It has branches in Beijing and Shanghai.
At the time of establishment, Chinese businessmen contributed 1.2 million yuan in silver and Italian businessmen contributed 4 million yuan in Italian currency. The president of the Chinese side is Xu Shiying, and the president of the Italian side is selsi; the manager of the Chinese side is sun Lisheng, and the assistant manager is Fang Zhiwu; the manager of the Italian side is Ma Meng, and the assistant manager is Bian Du. In addition to general commercial banking business, the bank also issues exchange certificates.
In 1924, Huayi bank was reorganized. The Chinese directors withdrew their share capital and operated exclusively by Italy. The head office also moved to Shanghai, and the capital was changed to US $1 million.
Huayi bank closed in 1940.

The branch was established in 1920 and located in Dafeng Road, the main street of the French concession in Tianjin (now No. 91-95 Jiefang North Road). As one of the important buildings in Tianjin concession era, it has stable shape, simple facade, rich details, exquisite interior decoration and ox eye tiger window on the roof. It is now the seat of Industrial Bank in Tianjin.
