Jiguanshan National Forest Park is a tourist attraction of Meihekou city in Jilin Province. The total planning area of the park is 2903.61 hectares, about 7.0 km long from east to west and 8.5 km wide from north to south. The forest coverage rate is 95%.

Coniferous and broad leaved mixed forest

Coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest is the basic vegetation type in Changbai Mountain area, with an altitude of 500-1000m. Its distribution is mainly concentrated on both sides of Changbai Mountain, and sporadically distributed on both sides of tiaoshenggou, covering an area of about 207.5 hectares. Pinus koraiensis is the main tree species, mixed with a variety of broad-leaved tree species, including Tilia amurensis, Fraxinus mandshurica, Quercus mongolica, Ulmus pumila, Betula formosana, Acer mono, pineapple, Populus davidiana, Tilia amurensis, Juglans mandshurica, etc. Standing trees usually have 2-3 layers of canopy, the upper layer is mainly Korean pine and Tilia, and other tree species often form the second and third layers of canopy. Quercus mongolica forest

Quercus mongolica forest is a natural secondary forest formed after the destruction of zonal vegetation. It is widely distributed on both sides of Changbai gorge, covering an area of 1348.0 hectares. In addition to Quercus mongolica and Acer truncatum, there are a small amount of Betula platyphylla, Tilia amurensis and Sophora japonica. The shrub under the forest is simple, and there are differences with the different site environment. Yang Hualin

Populus davidiana and Betula platyphylla are pioneer tree species, which are coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest or broad-leaved mixed forest. Most of the red leaves in Jiguanshan are Quercus mongolica and Acer truncatum. Trees and stones

500 meters below the top of jiguanlazi mountain, there is a natural lithophytic Mongolian oak, which is more than 20 meters high, about 50 cm in diameter at breast height and more than 100 years old. Jiguan Lake
