history
Haikou of Huangshui River. It has been a natural harbor since ancient times. According to legend, in the 37th year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (210 BC), Xu Fu went to the sea to ask for the elixir and led 500 boys and girls to sail eastward from the mouth of the Yellow River.
In 238, Emperor Weiming sent Sima Yi to conquer gongsunyuan in the east of Liaoning Province, where he built a large town to transfer military supplies. "Da Jin" means to join the Liao Dynasty. Sui Daye seven years (611 years), Sui Yangdi cutting Korea, in this garrison set up a village, known as the Yellow River Village, supervise the construction of warships, transport water army. Because it is located in Haikou of Donglai Huangshui River, it is named Huanghe camp. In the 19th year of Tang Zhenguan (645), Emperor Taizong attacked Koryo and Baiji. He ordered Zhang Liang, the commander of the Navy, as marshal and sent out 500 warships from yinghaikou of the Yellow River.
In the early Ming Dynasty, Japanese pirates harassed the coast of Shandong Province. In 1388, Xu Huizu, the Duke of the state of Wei, set up beacon towers along the coast to report to the police. The Yellow River Camp beacon tower is located at xidiangding, 1km southwest of the village. The platform is made of green stone and loess. It is a rectangular platform, 26 meters wide from east to west, 28 meters long from north to south, and 7.5 meters high. In the second year of Hongzhi of Ming Dynasty (1489), Fanlong, the county magistrate, rebuilt the Yellow River walled city to prevent Japanese pirates from landing. In the 23rd year of Wanli (1595), the Japanese pirates harassed the coastal area of Longkou by boat. Seeing that they were heavily guarded, they withdrew their troops to the East. In 1637, Ren Zhonglin, the magistrate of Chongzhen County, built a stone city with the gate facing south and three big characters "Huanghe town" engraved on it. The city wall is 4 meters wide, 8 meters high and 460 meters long. There are 12 crenels on the upper wall of the city. The moat outside the city is 3.5 meters wide and 2 meters deep. Haidu temple was built in the city to worship the goddess of the sea.
During the reign of Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Yongzheng of the Qing Dynasty, more and more people lived around Shicheng, which was called Huanghe camp. During the reign of Qianlong and Jiaqing, huangheying port became a trade port between Denglai and Liaodong Peninsula. Dengzhou and Yantai in the East, Yingkou Niuzhuang and Dalian in the north. Due to the convenient transportation of the Yellow River from Yingbei to Liaodong, most of the people in Huangxian County in the past dynasties went to the north of the sea to do business, and most of the people in Jiaodong boarded ships to cross the sea and "rush to Guandong".
In Daoguang and Xianfeng years, Yinggang of the Yellow River was a prosperous port in Jiaodong coastal area. The ship berthed here to replenish fresh water and unload. Several warehouses on sha'an wharf have been built into three rows of trestles and warehouses, and goods on the beach have been piled up into ridges. During the reign of Tongzhi and Guangxu, Huanghe village was renamed military camp because of its garrison. Donghaiguan set up the Yellow River business card here to manage merchant ships and collect customs duties. During the Sino Japanese War of 1894-1895, Huanghe Yinggang was one of the important coastal defense arms ports.
In 1914, Longkou was turned into a commercial port, and Longkou wharf gradually flourished, and the number of merchant ships going to and from the Yellow River Camp began to decrease. After the Anti Japanese War, the Yellow River Yinggang often had sailing ships to carry sea salt, fruit, vermicelli, unload logs, coal, grain, ocean surface, bean cake, etc. In October 1945, 100000 troops of Shandong marched into the northeast and crossed the sea north from Longkou, huangheying and luanjiakou. When Changshan island was liberated in August 1949, there were more than 30 people in huangheying village who supported the front and transported the combat troops with large sailboats.
After 1950, Yinggang of the Yellow River became a fishing port. After the completion of gangluan Wharf in 1985, the ancient port was abandoned.
