Yishui Road

It is a short small road with a total length of only over 300 meters. It starts from the governor's Palace Square in the West and ends at Jiangsu Road in the East. It was named diederichs street during the period of German occupation Weg), which was renamed chiyucho during the Japanese occupation. Along the road are beautiful German buildings left by the colonial era. Facing the square on the 11th of the west end is the governor's office, the highest institution of German colonial rule. To the East are the British and American Consulates General in Qingdao and a number of high-class villas. The eastern end is facing the Christian church on Jiangsu Road on the highland.

Yishui Road

Name change

Diederichs Weg was the name of diederichs Weg in the period of German occupation. It was renamed Chiyu town in the period of Japanese occupation and later Yishui road.
