General Buddhist temple in Xishuangbanna

The Dai language of the general Buddhist temple is called "wabajie", which is the pilgrimage center of the Buddhist believers in Xishuangbanna. Before liberation, it was the holy land for the supreme ruler and the chieftain of Xishuangbanna to worship the Buddha, and also the highest ranking Buddhist temple in Xishuangbanna. There are mainly Weihan hall, Buddhist College Teaching Building and other buildings. In front of the north wall of today's courtyard building, there is a altar for several Buddha statues. On the wall, there is a half picture of the Buddhist sutra. There is a seven armed Buddha on the east wall altar.
