Fengqishan, Chengdu

Fengqishan scenic spot is located in the west of the emperor in the middle and low mountain area of Chongzhou City, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. Fengqishan was originally named fengqishan because the shape of rocks is similar to Fengtou. It is adjacent to jiulonggou scenic area, with beautiful mountains and forests, birds chirping, and Phoenix singing. In history, it once belonged to one of the 108 scenic spots of Qingcheng Mountain. It has been known as "Tibetan dragon and phoenix" since ancient times. It is a scenic area with both natural and cultural landscapes. In the scenic spot, the ancient temple, which was built in Sui Dynasty and rebuilt in Tang Dynasty, has a special status in the Buddhist jungle of China and is known as "the first day of Xichuan".

Scenic environment

In the west of fengqishan scenic spot, the area is large and the scenic spots are scattered. In the middle of Fengqi mountain, there is a courtyard built by Xiang Wang, the leader of Tujia uprising army. It is called Xiang Jia courtyard. Today, there are only ruins left. Another peak rises on the opposite side of the mountain. It is tall and steep. It is expected to be tens of miles away. It is said that Xiang Wang once set up a post on it to watch the enemy's situation. Therefore, it is called Haozi mountain and Ziyu. Other scenic spots in the area mainly include Quzi xingyin, tianzijing, Chaplin rock, Gumei Dusan, etc.

It's named after a stone in the mountain that looks like a phoenix's head. The stone is dark brown, covered with green trees and bamboos, with sharp stones protruding from the top, like a phoenix beak. The lush vegetation is like a shaking emerald phoenix screen. Fengqi has many caves, dense forests and beautiful peaks, which are full of primitive wild interest.

Ancient temples in scenic spots

The ancient temple is located in the dense forest of Fengqi mountain, with its back against the top of Thousand Buddhas, the front facing Muyu peak and the side facing Xianglu peak. The Thousand Buddhas protect the temple, the sound of Muyu and the curl of cigarettes. Since the Ming Dynasty, the ancient temple has been famous. Lamas from Myanmar and India have come all the way to pay homage. Uncle Zhu Yuanzhang of Ming Dynasty and Emperor Jianwen of Sun Tzu took refuge here. Among the three official editions carved in Ming Dynasty, Hongwu nanzang, which was presented to the ancient temple by the Ming court, is the only one preserved in Chinese Buddhist classics. It weighs 11 tons and has a volume of 1.505 cubic meters, which can be called the classic of Chinese Buddhism. The ancient temple enjoys the reputation of "the first day of Xichuan" because it once owned this rare treasure.

The ancient temple, also known as "little green city", is surrounded by lush trees and beautiful scenery. It is surrounded by green and misty mountains and belongs to the 108 scenery series of Qingcheng Mountain. During the period of the Republic of China, Yu Youren, Yang Sen, Lin Sen and Feng Yuxiang all visited the Guangyan Temple inscribed by Emperor Kangxi. Yu Youren's inscriptions on the "Sutra library" are still in existence.

Scenic culture

Mengmenjiezi town in Fengqi mountain is known as "hometown of Tang Qiu", which is the birthplace of Tang Qiu, a poet of Tang Dynasty. Tang Qiu was born in Shuzhou at the end of the Tang Dynasty. He once served as a magistrate of Qingcheng county. Later, he lived in seclusion in weijiangshan, which is today's jiezichang. He lived a life of poetry and wine. Every poem he wrote was rolled into a paper ball and put into a gourd. Therefore, he is known as "a ladle of poets". Tang Qiu is regarded as one of the elites in the cultural circle from the complete Tang poetry and biography of Tang talented scholars to the Bashu literary garden Yinghua published in the 1980s. This "Tang poet Tang Qiu's hometown stele" expresses the people's deep memory of the Tang Dynasty Yinghua.

In the east of jiezichang, there is also a relic of the cultural tradition of the Qing Dynasty, the word bank, which is a stone pagoda dedicated to the burning of waste paper with words by people who believe in "cherishing words and getting happiness". It reproduces the traditional good style of respecting the sages, advocating culture and cherishing characters in the Qing Dynasty.

In fengqishan scenic area, there are also natural landscapes that complement these heavy histories -- Beautiful Longtan, fragrant plum blossom village, and towering primeval forest.
