Baishishan National Forest Park
Jilin Baishishan National Forest Park is located in the middle of zhangguangcai ridge and Laoye ridge of Changbai Mountain. The total planning area of the park is 7473.5 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 98.4%. The park is 15.1 kilometers long from east to west, 12.9 kilometers wide from north to south, with the highest altitude of 1284 meters and the lowest altitude of 430 meters.
The plants in the park belong to the flora of Changbai Mountain. The natural secondary forest is the typical vegetation in the park. Its tree shape is tall and beautiful, with high ornamental and attractive. The terrain and landform in the area are complex, and the vegetation is typical and diverse. The forest ecosystem is relatively complete, which provides a very favorable living environment for wildlife habitat and reproduction.
On December 25, 2008, the State Forestry Administration approved the establishment of Baishishan National Forest Park.

Jilin Baishishan Forest Park is located in the east of Jiaohe City, Jilin Province, and in the construction area of Jilin Baishishan Forestry Bureau. It is located in the middle of zhangguangcai ridge and Laoye ridge of Changbai Mountains. The total planning area of the park is 7473.5 hectares. Its geographical coordinates are 127 ° 31 ′ 45 ″ e to 127 ° 42 ′ 46 ″, and 43 ° 26 ′ 19 ″ n to 43 ° 33 ′ 17 ″. The park covers three forest farms and 32 forest classes. The park is 15.1km long from east to west and 12.9km wide from north to south, with the highest altitude of 1284m and the lowest altitude of 430m.
terrain
The park is located in the extension of zhangguangcai ridge. Affected by the Yanshanian tectonic movement, the landform in the forest park can be divided into two types: eroded middle mountain area and eroded denuded low mountain area. The mountain peaks are continuous and undulating, and the terrain is more complex. The highest point is Pingdingshan (sifangdingzi) at the junction of Baishi mountain, huangsongdian and Bihe forest farms, with an altitude of 1284 meters. It is the first peak of zhangguangcai mountain and the watershed of Mudanjiang River and Songhua River. The average elevation of the area is 500-700m, and the slope is 5-36 degrees.

Baishishan National Forest Park is located in the Songhua River system. The main river in this area is piaohe river. It originates from the west side of Xinkailing mountain and the south end of Pingdingshan mountain, flows from northeast to northeast, receives Pi River and Dabanzi River along the way, and flows into Songhua Lake in the northeast of Toudaogou Xiatun, piaohe town. The total length of the river in the park is 20 km, the average width is 8 km, and the average annual flow is 7.5 m3 / s.

The climate in the area where the forest park is located belongs to the mid temperate semi humid monsoon climate, which is characterized by dry and windy spring, hot and humid summer, cool autumn and long cold winter. The annual average temperature of the park is 4 ℃, the annual average minimum temperature is - 19 ℃, and the annual average maximum temperature is 22 ℃. The temperature in January is the lowest, and the temperature in July is the highest. The freezing period is from early November to May of the next year. The frost free period is 115 days, the first frost period is about September 10, and the last frost period is about May 20. The total sunshine hours in the park are 2300-2500h. The relative humidity of the park is 71% in the whole year, 78% - 82% from July to September, 59% - 60% from April to may, and 64% - 74% in other months. The annual rainfall of the park ranges from 620 mm to 740 mm, mostly from June to August, accounting for 60% of the annual rainfall. The annual river water date is 115 days, and the annual average rainfall is 720 mm.

alpine tundra
Alpine tundra is located in 10 forest class of Shifeng group scenic area, in the east of Pingdingshan mountain, commonly known as sifangdingzi, which is 1220 above sea level. Due to its high altitude and flat terrain, it forms an alpine tundra, covering an area of about 10 hectares. On it, there are curved old trees, especially Betula platyphylla and Betula formosana, which are similar to Betula platyphylla forest in Changbai Mountain It's a sense of beauty. There are some tundra vegetation growing on the ground, colorful, blooming in different seasons with distinctive flowers, beautiful and dazzling.
Dandelion Park
Dandelion park is located in 13 forest classes of Shifeng group scenic area, with an altitude of 950 meters and an area of 5 hectares. In the early spring, millions of flowers are blooming everywhere, golden and dazzling. When the seeds mature, the yellow flowers turn into exquisite white seed balls. When you look down, the seed balls are made up of countless small seeds. They are delicate, delicate and ingenious. When the breeze blows, each seed dances with the wind, like countless parachutes floating in the air. In addition, there are other plant flowers such as sorbifolia, apricot and so on.
Shifeng group
In ancient times, due to orogeny, many stone peak groups were formed on the ridge and peak of Pingdingshan mountain at 1200 meters above sea level in Bihe forest farm. Shifeng group is located in the 9.10 forest group of Bihe forest farm. It is a large Shifeng group composed of many Shifeng, covering an area of about 30 hectares. It is vividly called: jiangjunlazi, weirenlazi, bangchuilazi, ape Lazi, longtoulazi, etc., with different shapes and vivid shapes. The highest peak is about 80 meters, most of which are about 50 meters. The base of the peak is about 50-70 meters long and 20-30 meters wide. Standing on the top of the stone peak, you can see all the mountains and the vast forest. The distance is hazy and ethereal, which makes you feel relaxed and happy. There are also many caves of different sizes in the Shifeng group and a line of sky formed between the stone walls. Among them, there are six caves, the deepest is 10 meters, the width is 1-2 meters, and the height is 2-3 meters. Most of the stone peaks are columnar, fine and high. The lithology is tuffaceous sandstone, which is made of laminated stones. The shape is similar to tree rings, and some of them look very dangerous. The vegetation in the lower part of Shifeng is in the state of primitive forest, with towering ancient trees, shrubs, twining vines, covering the sky and closing the sun, and sometimes the traces and feces of larger animals can be seen. In the middle, upper and top of Shifeng, there are Korean pine, spruce fir, maple birch, color tree, oak tree, linden tree, shrub and moss. The growth environment is very bad, but these trees are still tall and upright. It is amazing to see the tenacious vitality of these plants.
Jushitan
Jushitan is located by the datanzi River in No.31 forest class of Bihe forest farm, 450 meters above sea level. It is a boundless natural boulder land and a must pass for jushitan rafting. The boulder extends downward from the river bank to the bottom of the river. Its lithology is granite. It is huge. After being washed by the river and rain, the exposed area of the boulder is about 300 square meters. The length along the river is about 30 meters, the width from the river is about 10 meters, and the thickness of the soil layer above the boulder is about 20-30 meters. If the soil layer is removed, the area of boulders will continue to increase, and it will become an ideal natural stone bath in summer.
Shigequn Beach
At 1020 meters above sea level in 13 forest class of Bihe forest farm, there is a large natural white stone group with a length of about 70 meters, a width of about 40 meters, and an area of about 2800 square meters. It is composed of 1598 white stones with an average size of about 0.3 cubic meters. These stones are smooth and round. When you look at them, they are large. There are various patterns, patterns or geometric figures on the surface of the stones Some of them are like birds and animals, some are like mountains and rivers, just like fine brushwork and ink paintings. They are wonderful, lifelike and amazing. Standing on the opposite hill, from a distance, it seems that a large group of white pigeons are looking for food, which is very interesting.
Qidu spring
Qidouquan is located in No.9 forest class of Bihe forest farm. It is the largest among many mountain springs. It is constant, that is, the temperature is about 7 ℃ all the year round, so it is called qidouquan. The spring water flows all the year round with even water volume, forming a waterfall several meters high on the roadside. The spring water flows out from the underground crevices. The water is clear, cool and sweet, warm in winter and cool in summer. In winter, the spring water does not freeze and emits a curl of fog, which makes the surrounding trees full of fog. The scenery is charming. In winter, there are forest frogs wintering in the crevices of the spring water.
