Laifeng Bridge

Laifeng bridge is located in the east of Xiaotong street. It was built in 1637 (the 10th year of Chongzhen reign of Ming Dynasty). It is a three hole stone slab bridge. It is said that when the bridge was built, a bird flew in. The bridge builder thought it was auspicious and named it "Songzi Laifeng bridge". It was rebuilt in the 48th year of Emperor Kangxi and the 15th year of Daoguang.

There are guardrails on both sides of the bridge, and there are long blocks paved with square bricks for tourists to rest and enjoy the scenery of the river.

It is a beautiful and moving love story like dragon bridge and Laifeng bridge. It is said that the two families of Wu and Chen live on both sides of Juxi river. I live at the head of the river, and you live at the end of the river. Every day I think of you, but I don't see you. I drink a stream together, and we get along well. But one year there was a severe drought, and the Wu and Chen families fought for water from the river to irrigate the fields, thus forming a long-standing feud. Later, another terrible dry year came. The two families fought fiercely for the sake of the stream. They both stood up on both sides of the strait with swords and sticks, watching the clan fights that had happened before. At this time, one side came up with a way to compete for water. As a result, Wu Rulong and Chen Laifeng won one game each and divided the water equally, thus temporarily settling the dispute.

The two young men and women also had feelings in the contest and decided to open a canal from the Yinping mountain to divert water. As a result, the two families worked together and finally brought in the spring, saved the harvest, and resolved the past feud. On August 15 of the second year, with the sound of trumpets on both sides of the river, the Wu and Chen families were even more jubilant. Wu Rulong and Chen Laifeng formed a happy couple with the blessing of the villagers. In order to commemorate this happy day, the Wu and Chen families decided to build Rulong bridge and Laifeng bridge, so that future generations can live in harmony and love. From then on, Wu and Chen lived in harmony and helped each other. The more beautiful and sweet their days were. You can't wait to see the real face of rulongqiao, can you? Ticket Price

The entrance ticket of Xitang town is 20 yuan (except for the indoor scenic spots, you can't get in at all). Each small scenic spot ticket has 3 yuan, 7 yuan (with 20 yuan big ticket to buy small ticket). The boat costs 80 yuan / boat (12 passengers, the dock is at Xue's house, and the tour route is from Qiantang family to qiwangye Temple). Xitang tourist pass is 40 yuan (including 11 small scenic spots).
