Guangfa temple was once listed as one of the four imperial temples in Qing Dynasty, and its predecessor was Yongzhong temple.
Guangfa temple not only has the ancient buildings that people yearn for, but also has the legend that people can imagine.
After the 1980s, the government invested heavily in the restoration of the temple. Today, the temple is full of incense and there is an endless stream of pilgrims.
Guangfa Temple
Guangfa temple, also known as Yongzhong lading temple, is located in momoza village, Anning Township, Jinchuan County, 33 kilometers away from the county seat. The temple covers an area of 3107.86 square meters. According to historical records, the temple was built around the second century. It was founded by Nei Yongzhong, a great master of this religion. It has become one of the famous holy temples of this religion in Tibet.
The temple was once listed as one of the four imperial temples in the Qing Dynasty. Its predecessor was Yongzhong temple. Yongzhong was one of the three famous temples of Yongzhong religion in the early days.
History follows
Guangfa temple was originally a great Buddhist temple of yongzhongben religion, covering an area of 100 mu, with thousands of Zen houses, magnificent buildings and exquisite sculptures. Speaking of this temple, it was once listed as one of the four imperial temples in the Qing Dynasty. In the past, the building was magnificent. The main hall stood in the southwest. The pure gold roof was shining with the sun. There were four Sutra pagodas at the front and rear doors. It was exquisite and simple. It was full of color and the bells and drums in the temple were singing together. In its heyday, there were more than 2000 monks gathered here.
In 1776, after the second Jinchuan war, the Qing government forced the abolition of yongzhongben religion and the establishment of Gelug Sect, and changed the name of the temple to Guangfa temple. Emperor Qianlong personally wrote a horizontal tablet with the name "Zhengjiao hengxuan".

Guangfa Temple suffered devastating damage during the cultural revolution. In 1986, the state allocated more than 300000 yuan to repair the main hall of Yongzhong lading Guangfa temple. With the approval of the people's Government of the county, the religious sites were restored and the temples were opened to Yongzhong.

It is listed as a key cultural relic protection temple in Sichuan Province and Aba Prefecture.
Legend
It is said that in the Song Dynasty, a senior monk of yongzhongbenjiao found the rare Scripture of yongzhongbenjiao temple in the cave under shiziyan, the main mountain god of jiamordor mountain in Jiarong Tibetan area. In the Scripture, there are three construction plans of "the main Oriental Temple of yongzhongbenjiao". One of the chieftains, named raxie Yongzhong, was born by Dapeng and became a man. He was sent by his father to teach yongzhongbenjiao in Jinchuan, and later won the battle with the devil Wang. He married Princess Bailong and was ordered by his father to build a temple in the "four bend shape". The master held the drawings and searched everywhere for the "four bend shape" of the temple. Finally, it was found that the sky, the edge, the mountain and the moon are curved. From then on, this historic site was built.
It is said that there is a huge copper pot in the temple. One day, a monk went to cook tea and fell into the pot, but no one knew about it. After the tea was boiled, the monks found a pile of bones left at the bottom of the pot, and they knew that the little monk had been eaten by everyone.
The life of the Abbot

Cicheng bamar Renqing is a living Buddha. At present, he is the 78th generation fatai of yongzhonglading Guangfa temple in Jinchuan County, the fatai of Reguo temple in Jinchuan County, the fatai of zhaxipengcuo temple in mairkang, the fatai of yongzhongqindu temple in Danba County, and the fatai of gexizaxinzhoulin temple in Danba county, At the same time, he is also a member of the Political Consultative Conference of Jinchuan County, Sichuan Province, vice president of Jinchuan County Buddhist Association, director of Aba Prefecture Buddhist Association, and vice president of Yongzhong Benjiao Association.
Bamar Renqing Rinpoche was born in waerma Township, ABA County, Sichuan Province in 1968. When he was ten years old, he was released by ABA duodeng wise man. Chiwa Fawang, zeerqing Fawang and nankadanzhen living Buddha in Jixiang Huizhou (duodeng Temple) were confirmed as the reincarnated Living Buddhas of great sage zhongmuhaere (yongzhangyexie). At the age of 11, he became a monk in front of the two Dharma Kings (chiwa and zeerqing) of the duodeng temple in ABA. In 1989, Rinpoche studied esoteric Dharma under the guidance of rozhirasai in Sangju Picchu. In 1990, it was handed down by the "Dazangjing" at longduo living Buddha. In 1991, Rinpoche was closed for half a year. The white umbrella cover and diamond pegs were cultivated for one year in 1992. In 1993, Rinpoche practiced "Da Yuan man" for three years in the closure of the Abba duodeng temple. During that time, he received the precepts of bhikkhu in front of the Dharma king of the Qing Dynasty, the Dharma king of chiwa and a dozen bhikkhu. At the end of the third year of his seclusion, Rinpoche developed the wisdom of living and reading, that is to say, he could truly know his past life and other facts, and witnessed his future achievements. After three years of closure, four guanding were authorized, namely Baoping guanding, secret guanding, wisdom guanding, sentence meaning guanding, etc. Jianmangwa taught him how to win the mother in the world, and asked him to do his best for the great cause of spreading the Dharma. After the completion of the Zen practice in 1996, Rinpoche used one year and six months of meditation to practice sangjue Dharma, which fulfilled all the three generations (past, present and future). There are countless deeds in the Zen room, which are full of light and fragrance, and practice the phenomenon of surpassing mother's four dharmas in the world. After sangjue Dharma was completed, Rinpoche went to Nianchu to practice. Then, a grand ceremony of mandala and fire offering was held.
In 1999, Cicheng bamar Renqing Rinpoche built a pagoda and a closed house for the villagers suffering from Kashin Beck disease in longerjia Township, markang. In 2000, Kaiguang was built. The pagoda was named "hehao pagoda", and the closed house was named "Japanese Dynasty", which means a clean place. In 2001, bamar Renqing Rinpoche took over the 78th term of fatai of Guangfa temple in Jinchuan County, and shoulder the responsibility of managing 13 temples in this place. At that time, Guangfa temple was dilapidated and full of vicissitudes. Life in the temple was very difficult. Rinpoche often couldn't eat and was hungry. Rinpoche borrowed money from his relatives and went abroad to promote Buddhism. The money he got from his hard work was never willing to spend. All of it was used to maintain and repair the temple.
In 2002, Rinpoche took up the post of the fourth generation Khenpo of duodeng Temple according to the wishes of the Dharma king of zeerqing and the Dharma king of chiwa. On November 22, 2003, bamar Renqing Rinpoche built Yongzhong pagoda (dalameibata) with villagers in dujiaogou, Jinchuan County, to commemorate the Second Buddha Liangmei, and opened the pagoda himself.
Around 2005, bamar Renqing Rinpoche came to dujiaogou again to search for the birthplace of master Liangmei. When Rinpoche came to a place on a hillside, inspiration came. Rinpoche began to light incense and pray. Just after the prayer, a bird came from the east of the sky. The bird circled Rinpoche three times on his head and called "gobu" and "gobu" while turning. Then it flew to a branch above Rinpoche, which was the birthplace of master Liangmei identified by Rinpoche, Just in the middle of where the bird stopped and where Rinpoche stood, the bird called "goboo" three times and flew away to the West. Fortunately, Rinpoche found the exact birthplace of master Liangmei after communicating with him. Later, Rinpoche told his mentor king chihuafa about this and personally accompanied him to the birthplace of master Liangmei. At this time, Rinpoche proposed for the first time to build a memorial hall in the birthplace of master Liangmei, but he was unable to build it at that time without funds. Later, Rinpoche announced the location of master Liangmei's birthplace at the church meeting, and proposed that we all contribute to the construction of master Liangmei's memorial hall. At that time, more than a dozen lamas agreed to build it together. Later, two lamas from aba built it together.
In 2004, bamar Renqing Rinpoche renovated the temple walls of Guangfa temple in Jinchuan county and built 10 monk houses for lamas. In the same year, Yongzhong ladang Quke forest was built in Danba county.
In 2005, bamar Renqing Rinpoche and the local government built the Tiesuo bridge on Dadu River in front of Guangfa temple. In November 2005, Rinpoche helped Danba rangzhu temple in Daofu County, Sichuan Province to build a monastery for monks.
In 2007, Rinpoche built a road connecting Guangfa temple and tiesuoqiao, which completely solved the problem of travel difficulty for the people around. On October 14, 2007, the construction of Guanyin hall with thousands of hands and thousands of eyes in Guangfa Temple started on the original ruins. It was completed on November 18, 2008, and a solemn opening ceremony was held.
In 2008, Rinpoche built a horse head Vajra hall at the duodeng temple in ABA.
On April 18, 2009, bamar Renqing Rinpoche started the reconstruction of Guangfa temple in Jinchuan county. The reconstruction projects include: Great Sutra hall, thousand Buddha Hall, Han Guanyin hall, monks' houses, Buddhist houses used by Buddhist monks, temple gates and stele pavilions. It took two years and seven months for the reconstruction project to be completed on November 18, 2011, and a grand opening ceremony was held. Rinpoche officially renamed Guangfa temple as yongzhonglading Guangfa grand temple.
On March 18, 2010, bamar Renqing Rinpoche started the construction of Yongzhong Qindu temple in gezong Township, Danba County, Ganzi Prefecture. It took more than two years to complete on April 2, 2012 (March 12 of the lunar calendar) and held a solemn opening ceremony.
In April 2010, Rinpoche, together with his local disciples, built 108 pagodas and skazhemapokham (red mule training hall of skagamo) on the holy mountain of spagamo in Manai Township, Jinchuan county. They were completed at the end of the same year and held the opening ceremony
