Mengding Mountain
Mengding Mountain is located in Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, in the southwest of Sichuan Basin, across the northwest side of Mingshan city. The mountain is high in the north and low in the south. It is distributed in Northeast southwest belt and extends to Ya'an. The mountain is about 10 km long and 4 km wide. Mengding five peaks ring, like a lotus, the highest peak Shangqing peak, 1456 meters above sea level. Located in Mingshan District, 110km away from Chengdu and 15km away from Ya'an City, national highway 318 runs through the scenic area. The two approaches of Chengdu Ya'an expressway are directly connected with Mengshan and Baizhang lake, so the traffic is very convenient. It is a national AAAA scenic spot.

It can be proved that Mengding Mountain in Sichuan Province is the origin of tea planting and tea manufacturing from the earliest records of Wang Bao's Tong Yue and the legend of Wu Lizhen planting tea trees in Mengshan in the world. Because the altitude, soil and climate of Mengding Mountain are most suitable for the growth of tea, so as early as 2000 years ago in the Western Han Dynasty, the ancestor of Mengding Mountain Tea Wu Lizhen began to domesticate and cultivate wild tea trees in Mengding Mountain, and began the history of artificial tea planting.
The Tang and Song dynasties were the heyday of Mengshan tea. From the first year of Emperor Xuanzong's Tianbao (742) in Tang Dynasty, it was listed as a tribute, as a special article for the emperor to sacrifice to the ancestors of heaven and earth. It has been followed to the Qing Dynasty for more than 1200 years.

In the folk, Mengshan tea has always been regarded as the God to get rid of diseases. In China, the famous couplet of praising tea is the popular saying "water in the middle of Yangtze River, tea on the top of Mengshan Mountain". This is one of the most famous tea couplets in China. It represents the best quality and highest realm of Chinese tea and is a treasure of tea.
The poem Qin tea by Bai Juyi, a great poet of Tang Dynasty, has a chant that "only other waters can be heard in Qin, and the old tea is Mengshan". Meng Jiao, Wei chuhou, Ouyang Xiu, Lu You and Mei Yaochen, the great masters of the Tang and Song Dynasties, all left many poems and essays on the topic of Mengshan tea. The poems and inscriptions in Ming and Qing Dynasties are more abundant, and contemporary poets and literary artists have left many beautiful verses reciting Mengshan tea. Wang Xinjian, a litterateur, wrote in his poem a trip to Mengshan: "when you step on the snow mountain, the stone path enters the tea field. There is no trace of vulgarity in the deep clouds, and there is Zen in the spring and gully. Lingming is close to the ancient temple and Xianzhu is close to the ladder. There's a lot of noise here. Mengding Mountain has the saying that "Ya'an is rainy, and Mengshan is the center". More rain leads to more clouds and fog.
