According to the records of Shuozhou in the Qing Dynasty, Yuchi Gong was a native of xiawuji village in Shuo county. Xiawuji is now mujiao village in xiamujiao country of Pinglu district. Yuchi Jingde's former residence and ancestral tomb are all in shangmujiao village. Now these sites still exist. Yuchi Gong and Qin Qiong are two traditional door gods in China. At the end of the great cause of the Sui Dynasty, Yuchi Jingde joined the army in Gaoyang. He was known as Wu Yong and was granted the title of chaosan doctor. In the 13th year of Daye reign of Sui Dynasty, Liu Wuzhou recruited Yuchi Jingde as a partisan general to invade the South with song Jingang, and occupied Jin and Hui. Yuchi Jingde defeated Wang Xiaoji of Yong'an and captured Gu Huaien and Tang Jian. In the third year of Wude, Emperor Taizong of Tang Dynasty attacked Liu Wuzhou. Liu Wuzhou ordered Yuchi Jingde and song Jingang to resist in Jiexiu. Taizong sent Ren Cheng, Wang daozong and Yu Wenshi to persuade them to surrender. Yuchi Jingde and xunxiang surrendered. Taizong Dayue, given quyan, led to the right government to unify the army.
