Hunhuaizhang site
Hunhuaizhang site is located in Pingluo County, 40 kilometers away from Yinchuan City in the West. It is an important historical and cultural heritage of the Qin Dynasty and the earliest ancient construction in the city.
In the 33rd year of the first emperor of Qin Dynasty (214 BC), Qin general Meng Tian expelled Xiongnu from the north and took over Henan Province (now the northwest area of Hetao of the Yellow River). He set up 44 counties, built the Great Wall, set up pavilions and barriers, and ruled Xiongnu. Hunhuai barrier was set up in Pingluo County (now near Binggou Han tomb).
