Phoenix Valley Bird Garden
Fenghuang Valley Bird Park is located in Lugu Township, Nantou County, covering an area of more than 30 hectares. It was officially established in 1982 and became a cultural and educational institution in 1991. The social role of Fenghuang Valley Bird Park is not only a recreation and leisure park, but also has multiple functions, such as nature education, environmental and ecological education, bird conservation, teaching exhibition, academic research, etc. it integrates them into the green forest to make the park more beautiful This valley becomes an organic classroom of nature! The main landscapes in the park are: Shijie historic site of Wannian Hengqu; There are more than 2000 rare birds in Taiwan and around the world; waterfalls on the upper and lower floors, with deep cold water and many fish and shrimps; a sea of clouds at the top of the park; shady trails with towering ancient trees, the best place for forest bathing; bamboo trails leading to Phoenix waterfall. There is a natural bird watching garden for wild visitors.
There are Fenghuangshan temple, Qilin lake and Kaishan temple nearby. You can visit along the road, which is suitable for one-day tour.
