Nanying Mosque
Nanying mosque is located in Nanying village of Langfang Economic and Technological Development Zone, the first exit of Jingdong of Jingjintang expressway. It was first built in 1424.
Historical evolution
According to documents, Nanying mosque was built in the 22nd year of emperor Chengzu of Ming Dynasty (1424 AD). The Hui people's surnames Qian and Ma migrated their brothers from Zhuxian Town in Henan Province to build the village.
At the beginning of June 1900, the Allied forces of the eight countries invaded China and invaded Beijing from Tianjin to Nanying, a hundred miles away from the east of Beijing. The nearby villages were severely damaged. The Imam Wang Hongdu in the temple led many Muslims to fight with the Allied forces. The Allied forces saw so many people and were irresistible that they fled in all directions. In order to thank the Imam and the Muslims, the villagers around Nanying presented a plaque to hang in front of the main hall of the temple. The plaque was engraved with the four characters "Lian Hui Tong Fang", which recorded an epic of the nation's joint fight against foreign aggression.
Exchange and cooperation
With the deepening of reform, the mosque has been opened to the outside world. In recent years, Muslim friends from Sudan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Zaire, Iraq and other countries have come to visit the ancient mosque. A and hailivan in the temple also made a pilgrimage to Mecca. In particular, Muslim friends from the joint venture of Langfang Economic and Technological Development Zone come to the temple every week to listen to the sutras and gather together, and visitors from all sides are also in an endless stream.
