brief introduction
In 1562, Qi Jiguang led his troops to support Fujian in fighting against Japanese invaders. He won three big battles in Hengyu, Fuqing Niutian and Lindun, Putian, and dealt a heavy blow to Japanese invaders. When the headmaster returned to Zhejiang, the officials and gentry of Fuzhou held a banquet on the remote platform of Shanping to receive the wind, and made a monument to record their contributions. Later generations built Qigong temple here, and later abandoned it.
Scenic spots
Around the ancestral hall are many scenic spots, such as pingyuantai, zuishiting, Penglai Pavilion, Bushan jingshe, sucui Pavilion, etc. The ancestral hall is a civil structure building on the top of the hard mountain, with a military statue of Qi Gong worshipped inside. Fang Yi is long and accurate, and is powerful and solemn. On the two walls, there are historical paintings such as "Japanese invasion in the coastal areas", "leading soldiers to assist Fujian", "three victories in fierce battles" and "Pingyuan celebration", praising Qi Gong's contributions to Anti Japanese war. The temple also displays Qi Jiguang's military works "training documentary", "Jixiao new book", fragments of war robes and armor, as well as March dry food "Guangbing", "Zhengdong cake", as well as the memorial tablet stone unearthed after liberation. When Yu Dafu visited the ancestral hall in 1936, he wrote a poem "Manjianghong". The meaning of the poem was profound, touching, and the words were impassioned. It expressed the heroic spirit of the Chinese people, which could not be insulted. It was inscribed on the stone wall beside the ancestral hall in 1978.
