Zhanjiang Bay Bridge
Zhanjiang Bay Bridge is a sea crossing bridge connecting Potou district and Xiashan District in Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, China,
It is located on the yuemaxie Bay,
It is a part of Guangdong Provincial Highway S373.
Zhanjiang Bay Bridge was established in 1992;
The project was started on July 30, 2003 and completed on December 30, 2006.
Zhanjiang Bay Bridge starts from Haichuan express in the East and ends at Leshan Avenue in the West. The total length of the line is 3981 meters, and the main bridge is 840 meters long. The bridge deck is a two-way four lane first-class highway with a design speed of 80 km / h. The total investment of the project is about 1.2 billion yuan.
Construction process
In October 1992, Zhanjiang municipal Party committee and government made a decision to prepare for the construction of Zhanjiang Bay Bridge.
In November 2002, the foundation of Zhanjiang Bay Bridge was laid.
In July 2003, the construction of Zhanjiang Bay Bridge started.
In December 2005, the main tower of Zhanjiang Bay Bridge was capped.
On June 21, 2006, the closure of Zhanjiang Bay Bridge was completed; on December 30, Zhanjiang Bay Bridge was completed and opened to traffic.
Bridge location
Zhanjiang Bay Bridge is located between the West Bank of Potou district and the East Bank of Xiashan District, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, China,
The main bridge crosses Majiao Bay 1.3km upstream of Pingle ferry; the whole bridge section is a part of Guangdong Provincial Highway 373, connecting Haichuan express in Potou district and Leshan Avenue in Xiashan district; the phase I connecting line leads to Huangpo town of Wuchuan City and national highway 325;
The second phase connecting line connects Leizhou Industrial Avenue and national highway 207.
Architectural design
building structure
The main bridge of Zhanjiang Bay Bridge is composed of main navigable span bridge and underwater approach bridge. The whole bridge section is arranged from northeast to southwest. The main navigable span bridge is a prestressed concrete composite girder cable-stayed bridge with double pylons and double cable planes, which adopts five continuous spans and half floating system. The main girder is a separate structure with single box and single chamber section. The steel box girder is designed to be streamlined to enhance the wind resistance. The side span adopts concrete box girder, and the girder height and box shape are consistent with steel box girder. High strength epoxy steel strand is used for stay cable, and external vibration arresting device is installed at the lower end to solve the resonance problem. The main tower is a reinforced concrete structure, and grooves are set at two corner points outside each tower column to enhance the curve beauty of the main tower. The side pier and Auxiliary Pier of cable-stayed bridge are provided with longitudinal movable support, and the transverse bridge direction is provided with anti-seismic block. Transverse and vertical supports are set at the intersection of tower and beam. In order to resist the seismic action of longitudinal bridge, Stu anti-seismic bearing is set in the center of beam bottom bridge at the intersection of tower and beam. In order to ensure the safety of the bridge, in addition to the cushion device around the pile cap, a waist hoop is set at the seabed surface of each pier to strengthen the overall bending resistance of the pile group. As a kind of safety reserve, the energy absorption and anti-collision device is set around the main tower foundation, which can not only slow down the impact of the ship on the pier, but also avoid the damage of the ship.
According to the frequent characteristics of local strong typhoons, Zhanjiang Bay Bridge adopts A-shaped main tower. In the design concept of tower shape, the original straight-line tower column is extended upward with large radius curve tower column through appropriate linear transformation, and the two tower columns at the top section are obvious, which are vertical to the tower, making the whole main tower torch shaped, with a rising momentum, implying that Zhanjiang City is "advancing by leaps and bounds, carrying forward the cause and opening up". In the top section of the main tower, the two columns are close to each other but do not intersect to achieve the best visual effect. The large curve pylon broke through the main pylon model of domestic cable-stayed bridge at that time; the curve shape was novel and beautiful, and echoed with the streamline girder of the bridge, forming a unique scenery of the bridge.
Design parameters
Zhanjiang Bay Bridge has a total length of 3981m, a main bridge of 840m, a main span of 480m, a side span of (120 + 60m) and an approach bridge of 50m;
The bridge is 25 meters wide and the connecting line base is 25.5 meters wide;
The bridge is 20 meters deep, the foundation is 104 meters deep, and the tower is 150 meters high;
The main bridge has a navigable clear width of 400m and a clear height of 48m, which can be used to navigate 50000 ton ships.
The bridge deck adopts the standard of two-way four lane first-class highway, the design speed is 80 km / h, the design load is highway class I (automobile class 20, trailer class 120), and the maximum longitudinal slope is less than 4%; the design wind speed is 45.1 M / s, which can resist typhoon class 12; the seismic grade is 8 degrees.
Operation
Ticket price
Starting from July 6, 2017, Zhanjiang Bay Bridge will restart the charging program and implement two-way charging for passing vehicles. On the basis of charging by times, Zhanjiang Bay Bridge will implement the preferential package ticket service of charging by year, and Zhanjiang car owners can choose to buy preferential package tickets voluntarily.
Traffic matters
Zhanjiang Bay Bridge is a fully closed first-class highway, with no sidewalk and non motorized lane. It is forbidden to walk or ride across the bridge.
Construction achievements
Technical problems
Zhanjiang Bay is located in the south subtropical zone with monsoon climate, which is regulated by marine climate all the year round. Tropical cyclone often attacks in summer and autumn, and the maximum wind force is above 12. Therefore, the wind resistance performance of Zhanjiang Bay Bridge is required to be high.
The bridge is the largest bridge project built after Humen Bridge in Guangdong Province. It is listed as the demonstration project of common quality problems by the Ministry of communications of China and the science and technology demonstration project of the Department of communications of Guangdong Province, and the engineering technology is very difficult. In terms of science and technology innovation, the bridge project has achieved the technological innovation achievements of "one international initiative, two domestic initiatives and five Guangdong first".
Zhanjiang Bay Bridge adopts the double floating pier anti-collision device, which can make the bridge "not damaged in small collision, repairable in middle collision, and not collapsed in large collision" when it is hit by ships. Compared with the previous artificial island "sacrificial" anti-collision scheme, the device can save nearly 80 million yuan. From the design scheme to the practical application for nearly three years, the researchers overcome the single floating suspended structure instability It can fundamentally solve the collision avoidance problem of the ship in the light or heavy draft state, and overcome the problem of "synchronous swing" of the double floating structure in the wave state.
Scientific research achievements
On December 23, 2007, the Zhanjiang Bay Bridge project was appraised by the project achievement appraisal meeting of "research and development of flexible energy absorbing and anti-collision device for bridges to resist the impact of 10000 DWT ships". It was the first time in the world that the piers of Zhanjiang Bay Bridge could resist the impact of 50000 DWT ships.
On May 23, 2008, Zhanjiang Bay Bridge won the science and technology award of Guangdong Province in 2007.
Value significance
The completion and opening of the jianghaiwan bridge will shorten the mileage from Hainan Province, Leizhou Peninsula to the Pearl River Delta by more than 40 kilometers. It will play an important role in improving the road network of Zhanjiang, promoting the economic ties between Leizhou Peninsula and the developed areas of the Pearl River Delta, and even connecting the material circulation in the southwest region.
