Jiulongquan, Kashgar
Bulakbehi (Uighur "Quanbian") is a spring scene in the northeast of Kashgar City. It is also called "Jiulong spring" by the Han people because of its nine springs
The terrain here is low-lying, and the springs are arranged at a certain distance, each of which is a pool. In the early years, it was a complete and beautiful spring.
In the Qing Dynasty, this spring scene was called "Genggong spring", and an old Buddhist temple beside the spring was called "Genggong Temple". This is a place name attached to the meeting in memory of Geng Gong, a famous general of the Eastern Han Dynasty. In 1975 (the 18th year of Yongping in the Eastern Han Dynasty), Geng Gong, a military officer of Wuxiao in the western regions, once dug a spring in Shule city to retreat from Xiongnu. However, at that time, Shule city was in Qitai County in Northern Xinjiang, not in the capital of Shule (now Kashgar City). This historical misunderstanding also adds a lot of legend to the ancient city of Kashgar, especially the spring scenery.
Four of the nine springs have dried up. The rest are marjiangbulak (Pearl Spring), tahibulak (stone spring), ayder habulak (dragon spring), norbulak (aqueduct spring) and navaybulak. Abudureimu Nazari (1770-1840), the greatest Uighur poet in the 19th century, was born and grew up beside the spring of blakbeixi. He is the only one in the history of Uighur literature who can keep pace with the Central Asian Literary Giant Alisher nawayi. "Nawayi spring" refers to amudureimu Nazari in the name of nawayi. During the Kalahan Dynasty, it was a royal tourist area in Kashgar, the capital of the king. A palace was built on the slope of the Western spring. In 1526, Yeerqiang Khanate became a great leader
Minister and Kashgar governor Mirza Haidar kulegani (i.e. the author of the famous historical work the history of Rashad) brought the spring into the urban area, and built three tall pavilions with the style of Samarkand in Central Asia near the spring. At the end of the 17th century, when the Mongolian Khanate of Junggar in Northern Xinjiang controlled the "hokka regime", the Mongols once built a Buddhist temple by the spring, and the bulakbehi Grand Mosque built here by apak hokka was famous for a time. In the middle of the 19th century, when akuba invaded, his son, hulibuke, occupied the pavilion beside the spring and built a famous prison in aoyikuoqia Lane nearby to suppress the common people. At the beginning of this century, there are many tourist facilities, such as Buddhist temples, teahouses, hotels and so on, built by local officials of the Qing Dynasty. There are fences around the spring, and tens of thousands of fruit trees are planted near the spring, which are guarded by special personnel. It has become a tourist attraction.
