Baigu and gaolingpo sites
Baigu and gaolingpo sites, located in the northeast of baigutun, Dahe village, Nabi Township, Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, are Paleolithic sites. The original landform of Baigu site is well preserved, and the stone artifacts are rich. A large number of stone products and glass meteorite samples for dating have been found.
More large gravel stone tools were found on the surface of Baigu and gaolingpo sites. In the gaolingpo site, 69 pieces of stone products and glass meteorites were unearthed. Later, more than 90 pieces of earth and stone products were produced, which confirmed that the Latosol was the original stratum of stone tools, and inferred that it was about 700000 years ago, which greatly advanced the history of human activities in Guangxi. Gu and gaolingpo sites are the best preserved and the most working of these sites. Many discoveries in Baise basin are the most abundant materials for studying the Pleistocene human development history and environmental changes in southern China and Southeast Asia.
