Yinling mountain scenic spot is located in beizaolin Town, Bazhong City, Sichuan Province, only 21 kilometers away from Bazhong City. With a height of 1424 meters and a total area of 64 square kilometers, the main peak is the former site of the Fourth Army headquarters of the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army, and is the place where Buddhism and Taoism culture spread in Northeast Sichuan.

Development history

It has a long history and has been a holy land of Taoism and Buddhism since the Northern Wei Dynasty. It is said that it flourished in Xianfeng during the reign of Jiajing. The name of Yinling mountain is changed in three ways. The earliest name is: an Xuan mountain, later Shunzhi years, Sichuan governor Li. In order to cure her mother's eye disease, she prayed hard. The Bodhisattva showed his holiness and cured the old lady's eye disease. She was specially named "Lingying mountain" to commemorate the kindness of saving her mother. She also built 13 new temples and rebuilt the Bodhisattva's golden body. After the Cultural Revolution was destroyed, it was renamed "Yinling mountain" again. Since then, Yinling mountain has been famous in Sichuan, Shaanxi and Bashu for its unique natural landscape, rich human history and exquisite stone calligraphy.

It was built in Chongzhen period of Ming Dynasty, and has experienced "three destroys and three repairs" since then. Because of its dangerous terrain and saddle like shape, it was named anshuan mountain. Later, Li Guoying, then governor of Sichuan Province, came to "anxuan mountain" to treat his mother's eye disease by worshiping Taoist priest. His mother's eye disease was recovered. He was named Lingying mountain after his efficacy. His mother's eye disease "restoration" seems to imply the providence of "anti Qing restoration". Li Guoying is a member of the red flag of the Chinese army. Although he intends to restore his eyesight, he knows that his strength is exhausted. In order to express his will, he labeled "an Xuan mountain" as the crime of "opposing the Qing Dynasty and restoring the Ming Dynasty", so as to destroy all the buildings. Then it was built. The magnificent and solemn "Lingying mountain" rose up against the mountain. The Buddha's body was made of gold, and the incense kept burning. It became the place where the Buddhist culture spread in Sichuan at that time. During the Xianfeng Period, the country was in dire straits and the people were in dire straits. The temple of "Lingying mountain" was once destroyed and stolen because of its beautiful construction. After that, the local craftsmen spontaneously organized the reconstruction. From the eighth year of Xianfeng to the third year of Guangxu, it has been 45 years of reconstruction. The "anxuan mountain" suffered from the devastation and destruction of history. Since then, there has been little sunshine on the mountain all the year round, but the fog filled the mountain. However, the Buddha is still effective, so it was renamed "Yinling mountain". At this time, it was the most prosperous period in history. There were 49 temples and lofts hidden in the mountains. The trees were beautiful, and the rocks were strange and famous. However, in the cultural revolution of 1968, Yinling mountain was once again destroyed. At the end of the cultural revolution, after the local government's rush repair and maintenance, some buildings were barely repaired, and the number of temples was reduced to 13. After that, Comrade Zhang Chongyu, then Secretary of Pingliang district Party committee, spent eight years searching for ink treasures all over the country, and built 1384 exquisite stone inscriptions, which is one of the four largest calligraphy inscriptions in the country.

Yinling mountain has a long history. Since Sui and Tang Dynasties, it has become the holy land of Taoism and Buddhism. In 1933, the Fourth Army headquarters of the Fourth Front Army of the Red Army was also set up in the Guandi temple in Lingshan. Today, there are 13 temples built on the mountain, and 3 new main halls are built. There are more than 100 statues of Buddha. There are more than 60 nuns, monks and lay monks living on the mountain. Lingshan is full of Buddhist light. In the lunar calendar: January 16, February 19, June 19 and September 29, it is full of incense, with a passenger flow of more than ten thousand people. Thousands of miles of faithful men and women worship Buddhism in the mountains, surrounded by cigarettes. English, American missionaries, French nuns came to preach and study. Therefore, Lingshan not only has a beautiful natural landscape, but also has a unique cultural landscape. There are 1383 pieces of calligraphy treasures of national leaders, senior generals of the people's Liberation Army, celebrities and poets from all over the world, which are inlaid in all parts of the scenic area organized by Comrade Zhang Chongyu and Jian Zhen. Lingshan's calligraphy and stone carvings can be described as "a collection of hundreds of Arts, and Lingshan steles are well-known both at home and abroad.". In 1989, as an important object of cultural heritage protection, he conducted scientific research and discussion at the inter Ming cultural and art seminar. The following year, yinlingshan stone inscription forest culture was added to the site of Chinese calligraphy forest of Steles, keeping pace with "Xi'an calligraphy forest of Steles, Taiwan Nanmen forest of Steles, Shandong Qufu Confucius Temple Forest of Steles", becoming one of the four largest calligraphy forest of Steles in China.

Existing service conditions: yinlingshan tourism company covers an area of 2500 square meters, with tourist restaurants, hotels, teahouses, Diaoyutai and other recreational places. The tourist reception center in the scenic spot has a comfortable environment and abundant conditions. It can receive 400 people for dinner and 150 people for accommodation.
