Poshan village belongs to qizili Town, Shexian County, Huangshan City, Anhui Province. Poshan village is a typical Shenan village. The villagers live in the mountains and depend on farming slope farmland for a living. There are 10 villager groups and 360 households in the village. The cultivated land area of Poshan village is more than 1100 mu.

In December 2018, the Ministry of housing and urban rural development plans to list Poshan village in the fifth batch of Chinese traditional villages.

On June 6, 2019, it will be included in the list of the fifth batch of Chinese traditional villages.

On December 25, 2019, it will be included in the first batch of National Forest Village list.

In March 2020, the village, as the second batch of single village museums, will enter the Digital Museum of traditional Chinese villages.

General situation of the village

The village has one general Party branch, one party branch under the general Party branch, 0 Party group and 47 party members. There are 435 migrant workers and 5 mobile party members in the village. In 2010, the per capita net income of farmers in the village was 6520.00 yuan.

The farmers' extensive planting and meager income result in serious soil erosion and deterioration of ecological environment. The village two committees seize the development opportunity of Camellia oleifera, implement the industrial structure adjustment, and regard the development of Camellia oleifera industry as a "green and rich people" project in Poshan village. The villagers' meeting was held to solicit the villagers' opinions, and the development plan of Camellia oleifera industry was formulated.

Take the way of "Five Unifications": unified planning, unified training, unified downtime, unified planting and unified management. The village formed a 30 person professional construction team to plant Camellia oleifera seedlings. Technical personnel of town forestry station follow up technical guidance on site. The way of "Five Unifications" not only ensures the quality of afforestation, but also makes the afforestation plots concentrated and continuous, forming a scale.

More than 90000 Camellia oleifera seedlings will be planted in 1000 mu of the village, and more than 60000 Camellia oleifera seedlings have been transferred and planted. The afforestation of Camellia oleifera can be completed before the end of the month. It is estimated that when Camellia oleifera enters the peak fruit period, the income of each household will increase by 10000 yuan, the soil erosion of more than 1000 mu of steep loess slope farmland in the village will be fundamentally curbed, and the ecological environment will be greatly improved.

Poshan village is located in mountainous area, with beautiful natural environment and rich tourism resources. Sunset, sea of clouds, wild chrysanthemum and tea forest all bring good tourism development opportunities to Poshan village. A number of farmers in the village have set up agritainment tourism projects, such as Yunlai villa, Huizhou family and so on, which have established a good reputation among customers and attracted a large number of tourists. Poshan village has gradually developed into one of the most famous tourist attractions in Shenan area.

Honors

On September 27, 2019, Poshan village was selected into the list of the first batch of beautiful rural demonstration villages in Anhui Province.

On December 25, 2019, it will be included in the first batch of National Forest Village list.
