Linzhou Grand Canyon is Taihang Grand Canyon, located in Linzhou City, the northernmost part of Henan Province, and the east foot of South Taihang. It is a national key scenic spot, a national AAAAA tourist area, one of the top ten scenic spots in Henan Province, the birthplace of the "shoulder pole spirit" of Shibanyan supply and marketing cooperative, a flag on the national rural commercial front, the hometown of Gu Wenchang, the son of Taihang Mountain, and the creative training base of the calligraphy and painting center of China Federation of literary and art circles. Because it is located in Linzhou, it is also called Linzhou Grand Canyon and Linzhou Taihang Grand Canyon.

Natural landscape and human landscape resources are very rich. The cliffs are high, the peaks are towering, the sun is strong, the platform walls are crisscrossed, the Cangxi river is turbulent, the waterfalls are hanging in all directions, and there are thousands of peaks, mountains, platforms, walls, gorges, waterfalls, peaks and springs. Taihang Grand Canyon is located at the junction of Shanxi and Henan provinces, in the northwest of Linzhou, Anyang City, Henan Province. It starts from Huishan corner of Rencun town in the north and ends at the bottom of Shanxi well in the south. It is a deep canyon with a length of 50 km and a width of 1.5 km cut by Lushui River, a tributary of Zhuozhang River, in Linzhou mountain. It is 100 li long from the north to the South and 8 Li wide from the east to the west, with an altitude of 800-1739 meters and a relative height difference of more than 1000 meters. In the territory, the cliffs rise high, the peaks are majestic, the sun is strong, the platform wall is crisscross, the valley is quiet, the peak is strange, the Cangxi river is turbulent, the waterfall is four hanging, the peak, the mountain range, the platform, the wall, the gorge, the waterfall, the Zhang, the spring posture is myriad, forms the magnificent grand canyon scenery, is the northern landscape typical representative.

Biological resources

The total area of the scenic spot is 120 square kilometers, with 90% vegetation coverage and 80% forest coverage. Among them, the original vegetation accounts for about 60%, the conversion of farmland to forest, artificial afforestation accounts for about 30%, the forest is dense, the natural ecology is good, the vegetation is perfect, it is a natural oxygen bar.

It is the geomantic treasure land of Zhong lingyuxiu. Emperors, generals, officials, swordsmen, celebrities, eminent monks, miracle doctors and craftsmen have left their footprints here.

Wu Ding, king of the Shang Dynasty, and Fu Shuo, Prime Minister of slave origin, once lived and lived in Wang Xiangyan; Xia Fu, a famous scholar in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, became a monk and lived in seclusion in Wang Xiangyan because of the disaster of Party imprisonment; Zhao Dexiu, a Shendao in Feixiang County, Hebei Province in the Ming Dynasty, cultivated his morality and lived in the mountains; Xu Sanli, a right servant of the Ministry of war in the Qing Dynasty, built a villa in Wang Xiangyan and lived in peace in his later years; Cao Pi of the Three Kingdoms once stationed troops and established a village in yijianshan Gao Huan, Emperor Shenwu of the Northern Qi Dynasty, and Zuo Liangyu, a famous general of the Ming Dynasty, led the army in Taohua cave, and fought in the South and north to build a great cause.

The people here have been living and reproducing here since the Shang Dynasty. The Chinese people born in the majestic Taihang Mountains are especially honest, kind and sincere.

Wang Xiangyan

Wang Xiangyan is adjacent to the stream in the East and the cliff in the West. Surrounded by the cliffs on the left and right sides, Wang Xiangyan forms a closed Valley to meet the Zhuque peak, which coincides with the ideal mode of "zuoqinglong, youbaihu, qianzhuque, houxuanwu" in ancient Chinese geomantic omen, and attracts celebrities from all ages to live in seclusion here.

Wang Xiangyan has a deep and dangerous valley, steep mountains, beautiful hidden in the male, ingenious in the simple, and magnificent momentum. The geological bedding of the cliff is obvious. At the bottom of the pedestrian Valley, the male rocks stand on the wall, which is dangerous and unattainable. At the turning point of the peak, in the green bush, the dangerous path suddenly appears. On the way to the mountain, there are strange peaks, waterfalls and forests. Deep in the white clouds, the rustic farmhouse suddenly appears, which makes people feel isolated.

Wangxiangyan has luxuriant vegetation, and the mountains are full of rare things. Quercus variabilis, Quercus liaotungensis, Quercus acutissima and huanghuamu are all over the valleys. In the boundless jungle, there are Forsythia suspensa, Polygonum multiflorum, Yuanhu, bupleurum, Ganoderma lucidum and other Chinese herbal medicines. Polygonum multiflorum growing on the precipice of the gorge grows as big as corn grains every year, and the fist sized one grows for more than 200 years. Some Ganoderma lucidum growing on the roots of withered trees in the humid mountain area of wangxiangyan has grown for more than 1000 years. Wang Xiangyan has a strong humanistic atmosphere and has been a famous mountain since ancient times.

Wu Ding, king of the Shang Dynasty, and Fu Shuo, Prime Minister of slave origin, once lived here, which is why Wang Xiangyan came.

Peach blossom Valley

Peach blossom Valley is not only a valley in Taihang Grand Canyon, but also the core scenic spot of Taihang Grand Canyon. It is a natural scenic spot with mountains, valleys, pools and caves as the main parts. It is famous for its "peach blossom in the severe cold of March 9, freezing water in the hot summer of March 3 and the tallest waterfall in Asia with a height of 346 meters".

Peach blossom Valley is 7 kilometers long from east to west and 3.5 kilometers wide from north to south. Taihang Tianlu

Taihang Tianlu scenic spot is located on the top of Taihang Mountain, with a total length of about 30km, starting from Taohua valley scenic spot in the north and Xianxia valley scenic spot in the south. It is not only an important part of the tour road of the scenic spot, but also an excellent location to overlook the magnificent scenery of Taihang Mountain. Taking a sightseeing bus to walk on Taihang Tianlu, the deep canyon and vertical cliff bring tourists a strong visual shock. Drifting in Taihang Grand Canyon
