Long Guangtai
Longguangtai is located in the west of Tengchong City, an ancient temple on the hill on the side of dieshuihe waterfall. It was built in 1527, the sixth year of Jiajing reign of Ming Dynasty.
Later, Deng Zilong, the famous general guarding the border, rebuilt the pavilion, which was a beautiful place. During the Wanli period, Deng Zilong was expanded into "general platform of Deng general"; in the 10th year of the Republic of China, it was called "longguangtai". On the stage, there are 206 character couplets written by Yi Wei, a scholar of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty, and Cun Kaitai, a county man. There are three characters of "Anji" and "longguangtai" inscribed by Li Yuanhong. Climbing up the mountain, you can see the waterfall in front of you and the Heshun scenery behind you. Such a scenic spot is also a place for gathering and chanting of literati and poets of all ages.
