Introduction to hometown
Mei Fei's original name was Jiang Caiping. It is said that she was a goose girl in the village. Now there is a long and narrow mound called "E Shan" in Linxi, where she used to put geese. In the Kaiyuan period of Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty (713-741), Gao Lishi was sent to Fujian and Guangdong, elected a beautiful girl, and Caiping was elected to the palace. She was clever and virtuous. She was good at poetry and literature at the age of nine. She was deeply loved by Xuanzong and was granted the title of concubine. By nature, she loved plum blossoms and admired the purity of plum blossoms. She planted plum trees all over the place and built a pavilion called "plum Pavilion". When plum blossoms are in full bloom, she will appreciate them all day. So Xuanzong called her Mei Fei and sometimes called her "Mei Jing". After Yang Yuhuan entered the palace
He was jealous of Mei Fei and brought disaster to her. She was finally moved to Shangyang east palace. She could only tell her misfortune in poetry.
The song "a Dendrobium pearl", which has been handed down to this day, says: "the two eyebrows of Osmanthus leaves have not been painted for a long time, and the residual makeup and tears stain the red silk. There is no need for pearls to comfort loneliness. "It's the famous piece she wrote to Emperor Xuanzong. Later, in the "an Shi rebellion", Mei Fei threw herself into the well. When Xuanzong fled to Sichuan and returned to Beijing, he found her body and buried it ceremoniously as a concubine. It is said that her younger brother was later buried in his hometown in the Jiang family's ancestral grave.
Social evaluation
Mei Fei was upright in nature and lofty in ambition. More than a thousand years later, people still miss her deeply and call her "imperial concubine of zugu". "A pearl has long resentment, and beauty and tears are able to make up. The only way to return is to lengthen the gate month, so that the regiment can be trapped and take care of its hometown. " "The essence of plum blossom carries the spirit of fragrance, and several plum trees are wet with tears. The grass is on the opposite side of the gate, and the tide is going up. I can't bear the moon hanging at dusk. " This is the poem about Mei Fei.
Introduction to Gongyu
Pukou Palace
It is a provincial cultural relic protection unit. The main hall is dedicated to the statue of empress Mei of the Tang Dynasty and the Ming emperor. On the left is the statue of her brother Jiang Caiqin, namely uncle Jiang. The back hall is dedicated to the God Xuantian. Gongzhuan was founded in Tang Dynasty. In the fourth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1576), the 28th year of Kangxi in the Qing Dynasty (1689) and the 21st year of Qianlong (1756), the existing buildings were rebuilt in the 13th year of Jiaqing in the Qing Dynasty (1808). It covers an area of about 1500 square meters and faces south from the north. It is composed of the main gate, the worship Pavilion, the main hall, the back hall and the East-West corridor. The main hall has a single eaves, two drapes on the top of the hill, 5 rooms wide and 4 rooms deep. The four column square angle of the pavilion is connected with the front eaves of the main hall. The pavilion is a beam lifting structure, and the ceiling and caisson form a beautiful pattern with multi-layered brackets. The Ruyi Dougong on the forehead of the gate is also quite exquisite. The wooden and stone components of the palace, such as the plinth, Chuilian, queti, hump and guardrail, are exquisitely carved. The whole Pukou palace is just like the magnificent palace in the capital. There are still some stone tablets in the palace, such as the story of rebuilding Pukou palace, etc.
On the riverside boulder near Ninghai bridge near the village, there are four characters "hometown of Mei Fei". To the south, there are white statues of Mei Fei and Mei Fei pavilion built by villagers. On the right side of Pukou palace is the Feiyun temple dedicated to Lei Haiqing.
